Both disappointing. I thought Ash would be a cool invis frame with his augments but he's jank as fuck. I teleport to a guy and we just stare at each other, no finisher. It's so high maintenance, the wording on Teleport Rush made it seem like ANY finisher/mercy refreshes the duration but nope you HAVE to spam teleport (and get the finisher, which is inconsistent).

people would go hog wild and stack up on resource boosters and smeeta to get 8x drops, and do things like camp in a SP survival mission in a corner for an hour and then pick up all the steel essence all at once, or farm literally so many mats the game thinks they cheated and preemptively bans them for suspicious activity

theoretically it shouldn't be as big of a problem now that they made steel essence expire and they nerfed smeeta, but they seem afraid to ever let people do that again

I personally used it to collect 8x lazulite toroids all in one go a few times and never needed to farm vox solaris standing again

steel essence currently will expire aka disappear from the game if you do not pick it up within a few hours of it dropping. It use to last on the ground forever until you picked it up. People would stack a bunch of steel essence in one area, usa smeeta, waited until they got the extra loot buff, and then go pick it all up to get a lot of steel essence.
Now it expires, and smeeta's charm got gutted.

I've seen less than a dozen Zephyrs in my entire playtime.
What weapons do you use with her tornados, and do you use the tornado augment, and are you mobile or static? Looking for alt builds than my "hover in place" schtick.

Zephyr is kinda high-maintenance and very mission specific. She's great on things like defense and Interception.
I find her hover to be annoyingly draining

Nothing fancy really I just abuse target fixation with high efficiency to stay in the air always (and free damage on slams), just enough duration to go the speed I want without being too out of control, and as much range as possible for 2 to bunch up everything in the room and stationary tornados make any chokepoint or defense object untouchable.

2 red shards for primary status and secondary crit
1 yellow casting speed

Its a very general purpose build that does basically everything. Fly around and abuse passive crit bonus while in the air, drop a tornado in a chokepoint and let it collect bodies while I fly around picking off stragglers then fly back to bomb the tornado occasionally.

I dunno I find she fits in anywhere except maybe Tridolons, but that's a very specific niche as well. Definitely a more active playstyle required than just room deleting frames or slamkongs (do those even still exist?)
