So I'm a newer player, this is my 3rd league realistically. What makes Evasion + ES, worthwhile as defensives? I see people playing it without block investment.In Keepers I played Armor/ES + Block, even just divine shield + recover 5% when hit mastery, I felt fairly safe, and when I made a recover es on block shield I felt even more tanky. Evasion + ES, with ghost reaver + the recover ES = to 1% of evasion, and spell suppress just feels drastically more unstable. I am assuming there is a lot of get good in this question, but I also just don't see what makes it tanky (not a trickster but I watched some old videos that showed people just outleeching anyhit they take.)

ES is really good in preventing that one failure from killing you because it's just more health so it doesn't actually reduce damage, but it stops you from getting one tapped. It is boring as fuck but if you get enough pack size and quant you can pull 50+c per map nearly 100% of the time and it's very easy to hit a div per. Vivid juice consistently increases in price for the entire duration of the league which also means it's a great latelet strat.
Why don't people use Coiling Whispers now? I'm sure GGG did something to ruin it but the wiki page shows no change to the ring so it must be something else
