i didn't say that. the ukrainians say that they are always launching from ukrainian soil. the russians, as far as i know, didn't say anything against it officially. i guess they only get fuel in ukraine and start their runs and then quickly fly back and hide. they've got like 44 f-16s, but they only ever seem to use a handful of them but they are quite old already. for the russians, it's usually from all directions but not all at the same time. tu-95 (caspian sea and engels air base), for all their ship-launched missiles like zircon and kalibr or what they are called (the old ones lol) from crimea (behind crimea), iskanders from belgorod, crimea and occupied ukraine because of its range and because ukraine is quite large. as for the migs, they usually move from the savasleyka air base, belarus (training lol), akhtubinsk and olenya air force base (some tu-95s too sometimes).
