Let's say that I have decided that going for the grenade hatch is the fastest way to eliminate Vox Engines. What loadout would best facilitate this while also being able to kill Hulks and War Striders relatively reliably?

I assume that Warp Pack will allow me to more easily close the distance. Maybe Medic armor to give myself that Stim boost needed to survive the gauntlet. Blowing up the vents is child's play, but what grenade best suits the final toss? I've become too accustomed to using Dynamite to blow up Fabricators, and it works against me for Vox killing since it has the 5-second delay and reduced carry limit. Frags are the most "obvious" solution since you can carry 6 of them, but they generally aren't that handy against regular bots. Maybe the HE grenade is the best compromise?

Yes it will block the proximity ragdoll from the silo. It prevents all vicinity ragdolling as long as you're within the shield, that includes stuff like war strider grenades etc, as long as it happens outside of the shield, none of the ragdoll force translates through the shield.

Any loadout that contains ATE as it lets you protect yourself on the throne without needing to use the big shield relay.
Loadouts that use charge weapons also benefit as the shield will protect you from the possibility of being flinched whilst charging, Purifier/Epoch especially benefit due to how disastrous misfiring them can be.
The shield will also protect you from melee attacks as long as the attacker is outside of the bubble.

For Hellbombs and 500KGs you need to be in the outer radius of the explosion to survive, if you're in the inner radius then the inner explosion will break the shield and the outer radius explosion will kill you, but if you're in the outer radius, only the outer explosion will hit the shield, which it will tank for you.
For OPS and similar objects that have both impact+explosive damage you need to not be directly hit by the shell, otherwise the shell's impact will break the shield and the explosion will kill you. But this obviously doesn't matter if you're the one firing something like a leveller or ultimeme shot outside of the shield, because then the impact won't hit the shield, so the explosion is the only damage source to consider which the shield will tank.

Different countries had different design philosophies. But the general idea is that a tank destroyer is not built to slug it out with another tank, its purpose is to kill other tanks. That generally means that armor designed to stop tank rounds is optional, and they instead simply try to kill the enemy tank by shooting first or shooting from a position where the enemy can't easily shoot back. You can accomplish that with a bigger gun (penetrate the enemy tank's armor with that one shot and kill it) or speed and ambush (shoot first, then run away before the enemy tank shoots back).

In terms of rotating turrets, some tank destroyers had them, but the problem is that you have to heavily armor a part of the vehicle that then has to rotate and contain a big gun. If you don't put as much armor on the turret, then you can get more performance out of the engine while also freeing up space in the turret for comfort, a bigger gun, or even an open top to let the crew just stick their head out and look around for improved situational awareness. Removing the turret entirely and just giving it a casemate saves even more weight. Remember, if your vehicle is designed to ambush and make that first shot count, then you're already going to be in a prepared position with your vehicle pointed in the right direction and thus the turret isn't even needed. In a situation where you need heavy armor and a turret to be able to engage enemies in multiple directions without rotating the whole vehicle itself, that's what tanks are for.

There are too many arguments why this tank should not have turrets.
1) It's cheap and it lightens the weight for transportation by plane.
2) This forces the driver and gunner to cooperate more with each other, which is important in a coop game.

Lack of tower mean you can place bigger cannon, have more frontal armor and lower silhouette. All of this is advantages in battle vehicle vs vehicle.

Do you have the first 3 upgrade for the patriotic admin center and eagle? If not then focus on those first since hellpod steering is borked due to swigger coding and height limits. Those upgrades are more impactful for the current state of the game. If you have to choose between the two, rapid launch since it allows after mine deployment and is good with calling down gas mines on a bug breach.

But ever since that event ended it's like everything is in complete chaos. Every matchmake team is retarded. I drop in on Diff8 and we can barely finish the mission. No it wouldn't be. And even if it was, what's the harm? You get 2 out of 4 players coordinating in a vehicle. Give them their 30 rounds of power fantasy. Balance can also be achieved by smart game design choices instead of making shit clunky and unfun to use. Like adding tank traps, hedgehogs or enemy AT mines - that have to be cleared on foot. Enemies calling in their own tank destroyers or calling CAS or Gunships. Some objectives could be designed to be only accessible by foot.

On top of giving the tank players an engaging fun challenge this would even contribute more to teamplay and encouraging players to support their team assets.

Calling those "Tank Destroyers" is kinda wrong. Every big gun on a chassis could be designed as a Tank Destroyer, it is decided by doctrine, not by the vehicle. The Italian Centauro for example is considered a Tank Destroyer (picrel), while the US Stryker is for example considered a Light Armored Vehicle.
This said, casemate tanks exists for basically only three reasons: Extremly more cheap than turreted tanks, and extremly more reliable because of the fewer moving parts plus and the ease of reparation\maintenance, and because it's way easier to fit surplus AT guns that you already have in a casemate \ open chassis

I don't care for the eruptor on bots as it can struggle to kill troopers quickly if there's a large and spread out squad of them. The ultimatum is good but I don't like having it with the eruptor as you can get fucked in close combat. Decoy mine is fine. OPS is good for sniping destructible objectives and fabricators and as a big grenade for enemies. 500kg has use everywhere. The portable hellbomb is fine as an objective breaker or to delete bot drops. I feel like the laser cannon has too little DPS these days. Armor choice is a personal preference.

However, this player vehemently refuses to play on D6 where the spawn rate is at his desired amount, instead he wants the developers to lower the spawn rate on D10 to the D6 rate.
Simply put this player wants the difficulty of D6 while being able to SAY he plays on D10 because his ego is too fragile to survive having to lower the difficulty number. He's fine with playing on what is effectively that difficulty but he just doesn't want anyone, even himself, to KNOW he's playing on that difficulty.

The vox as a super heavy that can't be one-tapped with an RR is a sound design. The current faults with the vox can be summed up as:
>they forgot to check the box to count the sarcophagus as lethal

On mintoria they didn't spawn as frequently and the damn things were ganked constantly by gatling and eagle strafing runs before people could finish calling in levelers. Voxes have some undercooked facets to them, but the problem giving people trouble is that they're spawning at rate that demands builds heavily skewed towards anti-superheavy, and many of those builds falter when faced with the heavy infantry presence that is also being spammed alongside the commander borgs. Even then the good players have adapted and mostly don't start choking until within a megafactory where eagles get fucked by AAA, bombardments get fucked by reposition timers, and the rest of our stratagems get fucked by retarded bouncing.

The real killer is that they simply spawn in such unreasonable numbers (and no, I refuse to believe that AH intended this). For how much effort goes into killing one at D10, you get another two or three that spawn almost immediately after, and all the ordnance and stratagems you spent killing the last one were completely wasted. Trying to be efficient is a fool's errand because the grenade hatch kill is high-risk and unreliable, while at the same time there are no weak points that you can focus to kill it in less ordnance and thus you're forced to deplete its entire main HP pool.

It's like being in the bad old days of Charger Behemoths needing two AT rounds to kill apiece but then spawning at least one or two per patrol, or the scientist evacuation mission where six Bile Titans just roam around the complex chain-killing you and your team because they take two AT headshots to kill apiece and all that shit is on cooldown or dropped on the ground underneath the Bile Titans where you can't get at it.

Gatling barrage shits out a metric shit ton of AP5 damage with one of the shortest CDs in the game. Strafing run, when it isn't cucked by factory AAA, is also a brute DPS staple as seen from its success vs the hive lords. One single drum of HMG ammo at the treads is equivalent to ~5000 damage. Pyrotech sparklers tangled up in the treads often damage multiple treads simultaneously for thousands of points of effective damage. If giga grenades have AP5 explosions then they'll jump up as a anti-vox staple quickly. C4 is another efficient option for killing them, but it will suffer if pvt retard routinely wastes resupply pods on the wrong side of the map. We have the tools to chew threw tens of thousands of HP on the regular.

I stopped trying to bruteforce my wat through and just run a commando build. If solo, I don't often trigger Vox patrols, and in teams i just tackle objectives separately from the main party. Same as Cyberstan, people just don't realise how going all commando trivialises cyborgs.
