Then after that they get to work trying to finish the thing and come up with a more aesthetically pleasing complete design. This is when they work on the hair, clothes, face etc until they have something finished. Even small things, like extending her arms to give us the train code, make use of her gimmick very effectively.The others don't really. Huggy's gimmick seems to be his own compressability, but this only comes into play in his first chase. CatNap only occasionally uses his smoke and nightmares and his actual physiology seems to have no impact on what he can do. Sawyer's prescience is almost never felt. Doey gets the most mileage out of his molding but they could've gone further. Lily actually utilizes her gimmick to its fullest potential but still feels less interesting than Mommy, you'd think if someone had tentacle hair they'd use it for literally everything, like transport.
