Nikke lost the respect of the player base with the fakeout deaths and bringing characters back. (It's actually funny because that was the whole premise at the start of the game with Marian and the thing that made people think this would be more than just an ass game.) So unless a character disintegrates into dust on screen, they are not truly dead. And especially with how they handled Nihilister, she definitely has the chance to come back.I don't like this idea. My favorite character is Red Hood, and she's dead, but that doesn't affect my enjoyment of the game at all.The story is good, and I’m invested, so much so that if there was a button that could kill all my favorites and even make the game a bit less fanservicey but improve the writing, emotional depth, illustrations, and gameplay, I would 100% press it.
