>>560556347Not him but I'd say it's fairly even. Striker is very good at dodging shit and isn't going to be unavoidably playing into the K9 anti-hand/GY effects every game. And Striker has some non-targeting stuff that can screw over VS' ability to dodge.Though if you're going second and they get full setup it can be hard to fully dismantle their board AND beat their grindgame assuming they play it well.Worst matchup is probably Lunalight. You probably aren't running many hand traps so it's not easy to stop them from setting up, and it's not common enough to be worth running HAMP and even if you do then you'd need to remove their Ligers over multiple turns which is doable but not that easy. And it's not like the deck has any spell negates so you might get blown out by just a Heavy Poly.

The "new stuff" in the current pack is Radiant Typhoon Vision; it's Allure of Darkness for quickplays. The actual new Sky Striker cards released a while back. People are also waiting for the card "The Fallen & The Virtuous" which works really well for Sky Striker's gameplan and is another quickplay to throw in.

Ash can also be saved for flame if you have a spell you must resolve on your turn for your play. It can also be used on lukias if you suspect they have no other plays, but this is unlikely and I do not recommend gambling, just gun for the rahu. Ashing a second turn ketu is good too. Imperm is just on arthalion usually.

The 1 card combos typically build a board AND set up their turn 3 in one go, which means if you clear a board you need to set up behind it or one shot your opponent because all their shit is coming back next turn.On top of that the nature of 1 card combos means your opponents hand can be full of Ash, Dominus cards etc. So you Dark Ruler your opponent, get handtrapped anyway, on top of the fact you gotta play through layered endboards, then get steamrolled on turn 3 because of all the set up they got to do on turn 1.

There is no creativity in yu gi oh, it’s just not designed that way. It’s finding and interacting with the choke points of an opponents deck with your interaction. I enjoy the solitaire aspect of the game and the interaction, it’s quick and the various archetypes are fun even if sometimes weak until it gets support.

>>560843072White Forest is strong against Fuwa but weak against Purulia. Sky Strikers is quite strong against both. You'll only give 1-2 Fuwa draws going first, and can often cut those numbers down by drawing a Linkage you can chain to a Fuwa. Purulia will rarely get more than a draw off your normal which you don't even use all the time. You only really spam your links during turn 2 when Charmies aren't live, and if they are then you're probably going for an OTK where you're doing most of your summons in the battle phase where cards like Veiler and Nib are dead.

Hey guys, I'm playing one(1) Book of Moon in Sky Strikers because I wanted another quickplay and had one slot to fill. Please fill up 4 pages with discussion on this very interesting tech choice I made and all to cool interactions like target Raye, chain Raye to get a third spell in the GY. I'm also thinking about maybe adding Droll. The interesting part is that it has a cool interaction with Crossout where I can use it to counter an opponent's Droll.
You knowIve been playing some radiant typhoon recently. Its a pretty fun deck. I dont think i should be able to combo off if my opponent uses a quick play spell turn 0. That's a little silly. I just had a game where they used a quick play spell, which let me go into Krosea, they mournered, which let me shiina and bounce the board and still get the search. Obviously they scooped after that. That's a little silly for turn 0.

Even if you do banish both Roze there's a good chance that all that happens is you lose the destruction from Zero and replace it by drawing some other disruption from deck and the opponent surrenders after you shut down their turn without ever realizing that your deck was crippled.You can also often just change your turn 1 combo to put Roze in the GY early without losing anything. Or just hold Desires for turn 3. Half the time you're drawing Super Poly and need a discard anyway so if your board is strong enough you can wait and see if you'll need it.But Desires is definitely extremely good in Sky Striker. It's extremely common that the +1 spirals out of control as you draw other draw cards. Even when you're just drawing extra Droplets or whatever this inflicts massive psychic damage to the opponent causing surrenders.

That's unimpressive compared to a true Combo Deck, but the deck has lots of other advantages those decks don't.

Just be careful not to clog your main monster zone, but you can linkage/droplet it away or make one of the link 2s. I'd immediately replace it for Fallen & the Virtuous.
