Last time I raided was demo lock on week 1 of manaforge omega. I got orange on every fight (that I ran as demo) and one of the fights I got a 99 on both times I ran it. Purely with pugs from raid finder.And week 1 stuff matters because it means I wasn't carried by gear, the ground is more even for everyone since the raid just opened so it's more about skill compared to parses at week 20 where people are just geared to the teeth.Then I got bored of wiping with pugs for hours on nexus king and just stopped raiding. How much better is the guild experience compared to group finder? I'm not sure I'd be able to join one that does heroics since I didn't get AOTC.
