Ideally break 5 and get to the center of map and then jump to the area the second circle sends you.If you mean actually traversing the map, that is just something you learn by making mistakes. The best thing you can do is memorize where the jump pads are, because you'll be using them a lot.

>>560624895You'll want to look up crystals and try to memorize them, at the minimum you want an idea of their locations but as you get experience you'll eventually figure out which ones are going to be where based on what crystals you've seen so far. There's a few routes you can take but you probably won't go wrong if you go towards the western ruins before working towards the middle if you have any southern start, I like to route towards the underground ruins if I get the kaiden start and there's a reason to jump onto the cliff leading to the other southern starting area but if you don't know what to do it's probably better to stick to the western ruins for now. Northern church is easy just kill the boss there and a lobster or two, you can go the mine if you want the smithing stone or you can just work towards the middle area. The key to day 1 is crystal hunting, day 2 is purely devoted to the castles.As a side warning if you see a mobile character like Wylder zipping around you might want to be careful following them.
