Lakeview would be a great map, it would be pretty easy to retool the SH2re Lakeview Hotel into a dbd map by putting a few pallets and holes in the wall that allow you to drop from 2/3rd floor to the first/garden & docks area. Probably in the next few years. Konami might be BHVR's favorite partner at this point and Silent Hill is on the upswing and more relevant than it was when we received the first chapter. I think the amusement park is the best choice for another map set in Silent Hill. Outdoor map with a main building (the haunted mansion), strong horror vibes, unique concept not in DBD yet (a themepark) and it's present in SH1 and SH3 which will become more relevant soon. But Resident Evil and Stranger Things didn't get a second map so I doubt Silent Hill would either.

Nah what they need to do is just add a server browser for custom games and the host can make a ruleset for banned perks/items/etc, set allowed maps for each killer, and set certain score event conditions i.e 1 point for hook stage, two point for fresh hook, points for gens done, etc. And add a mode to custom matches where it's 5v5 played at the same time and scores are compared at the end.

To add to this, if you can save your rulesets and share them I could easily see there becoming a standard where most matches will have something like "5V5 DBDLEAGUE RULES" as their title in the browser. It would also be sick if you could just set the win con and control way more about the match. So for 1v1s you could make it so hatch doesn't spawn, you both spawn at shack, and the game ends on a down, then immediately loads into the match with roles reversed and compares the times at the end.

Hot take but i think survivors as a whole need a nerf, and communication between survivors in game needs a massive overhaul. From my POV, dbd should be a horror game in which survivors need to work together to survive. However, currently it feels more like a party game where the killer is just there to entertain the survivors like a jester. Survivors overall are too powerful for a horror game, but i do get that its because survivors have no in game communication so they need to be strong enough to survive on their own, this is where the problem is. dbd having no in game communication other than a wave and point emote is absurd, take outlast trials for example. In outlast trials you have an entire voice line wheel to convey things, like danger ahead. Ideally, dbd should be a horror game where if you go clicking your flashlight at the killer drawing attention to yourself you should get killed for it. And for killers, most dont feel scary. The only scary killers imo are dredge, unknown, micheal, and ghostface, which doesnt seem fitting for a horror game.
so in summary, dbd needs overhaul back into horror game and to have good comms between survivors.

1. A highly survivor sided map that is large, has many pallets, and is very easy to break LoS
2. Reworked trickster is mostly a nerf; he has less pressure due to being 4.4, cool new skin tho
3. Buff to fog canisters, pretty much back to how they were when it first releases, super strong item to break LoS or juke killers
4. Nerf to Weaker despite pleas on the PTB to not remove skill expression, they didn't listen to shit and gone ahead and did it anyway
5. No need to gen rush perks, Fast Track is strong as hell
6. Nerf to a brown Wraith add-on (lmao, can't make this shit up)
7. Pixel perfect silence on pallet density adjustments, no updates from dev since 2v8
Why would anyone want to play killer? It's clear these devs don't give a fuck about balancing the game AT all

in some ways that is the counter to it but it's kind of a catch-22 because the real strength of fast track is having four people in a swf stacking it, if you're in the mmr where 4man hard slugging is actually effective you aren't going to run into that too often, and on the other hand if you're in the mmr where people are actually running those 4stacks slugging is not going to work on them. right now it looks like the meta is just to give up if the generators are going too fast so you can lower your mmr.
