This game has reached a core problem point named Hyacine.Hyacine provides an invaluable amount of buffs and power to the Rememberance team, all the while being a sustain and massively buffing the team's maximum HP. Hyacine is actively a damage bonus to the team while keeping it safe from everything.For every other team in the game, including Elation teams, using a sustain is a huge damage penalty. But, because Hyacine was so powerful, they've had to increase both the ATK and the SPD of enemies (namely elites) to the point where sustainless runs of every other archetype are starting to feel the pain.So, in order for a sustainless run to succeed, you need more eidolons. More damage, more speed, more actions, whatever the eidolons bring, just so you can kill the enemies fast enough. Meaning the following things>Rememberance doesn't give a fuck, because the team has insane maximum HP and actually wants to get hit.>Sustainless runs for every other archetype require higher eidolon investment than before.>Runs with a sustain for every other archetype look awful, because the damage penalty of running a sustain is high even with eidolons.This is why the newer Elation teams look bad. Break can manage by breaking and therefore not getting hit. Everyone else is getting fucked.The game is unironically bricked as a whole on a fundamental level. There's nothing they can do to fix it without doing a complete overhaul of the game mechanics. Or by releasing sustains that also provide equal levels of synergy that Hyacine does to Rememberance, but this means that said sustains become completely mandatory, because if they want to increase ATK/SPD further older ones will fall off and sustainless runs get even more impossible.
I like Evanescia's design and animations but I can't invest in a new path and I don't like single target damage dealers.
