Sometimes I just want to hop between different activities and do what I feel like doing in the game without getting punished but the way the archaelogy relic system works, the game doesn’t want to allow me to do that.Tonight I switched from my skilling loadout to my PVM loadout because I wanted to PVM for a bit to cap out my weekly reaper points. After I was done I switched back to my skilling loadout since I wanted to get back to some farm runs and herblore. Switching relic pages back and forth like this cost me almost an hours’ worth of archaelogy output (20,800 chronotes), just for wanting to use the optimal buffs when I switched from activity to activity.I think this is a huge shame because one of the best things RS3 has over OSRS is that you can use your bank presets to quickly switch between activities. But on the other hand, even though OSRS doesn’t have this convenience, OSRS never punishes you like this for switching activities. In RS3 instead of relics being meaningful choices, it feels like you get locked into doing only the content that aligns with the relics you already selected and you aren’t allowed to optimally do anything else until you’ve done enough of what you were doing before, because the cost for switching is so high.Personally I think the relic system would be far better if we had the option to spend a large sum of chronotes on each individual relic to permanently unlock them. Even if the cost was in the millions (IE: a one time fee of 1m~7m chronotes depending on the relic) I’d be willing to grind out the ones that I frequently switch between. Idk I doubt anything is gonna change but I’m hoping others might agree with me here so something could at least be considered.
I think that we should split the loadouts (and relics) into three types: combat, skilling, and "utility"Dividing the skilling and utility ones might not be obvious at first for some of them, but things like Abyssal Link, Luck, the Inspire <skill>, and Death Note, things that don't directly impact skilling methods but are more QOL types.Combat and Skilling relics have 500/650 energy and utility relics have 200/350 energy. When the change goes live, everyone's relics are reset and you are refunded the Chronotes for what you would have had equipped. Now, equipping a relic is 5x what it currently would cost (to still have some value for Chronotes) but you can have a combat preset, a skilling preset, and your utility preset all active at the same time. You only pay when you equip a new relic in one of your three presets.I just want Luck to be its own category.Using a slot on LotD relic feels like such a waste. But noob trap FOMO if it’s not on or you don’t carry a ring switch.There’s been enough of a drive towards ring slot diversity and lessening switchscape. This is a good opportunity to continue that.I’m all for having a Chronote sink, but not one that preys on people who like to have variety in their playtime.This system forces you to pick and activity and stick with it for hours to get enough value out of the chronote cost. It’s never fun to feel forced to do activities longer than you want to.With Jagexs idea of "Place any amount of anything anywhere", possibly just have a room full of functional skill cape stands? Slap on the Arch cape and i could see it giving a discount for relic swaps like how Armour repair works. I was chronote-poor too. I’ve been doing arch 90% of my time in game for almost a month straight (spent many chronotes on research and the consumable buffs as well). I thought farming millions of chronotes would eventually make this issue feel less annoying

But sometimes I forget and drop my best sword by accident and a mean player called "PkerLol" comes and takes it and runs away laughing. Then I yell "NO FAIR!!" at the screen.I tried to go to the Wilderness but my mom said "NO that's where the scary big kids are" so I only went once and a guy in black armor killed me in one hit and took my bronze helmet and I was so mad I logged off and ate ice cream.There are dragons!! Big green ones and they breathe fire and I run around going "AHHHH" and my friend gives me a anti-dragon shield and we fight them together and get dragon bones and I go "YAY IM RICH" but then I die because I forgot to bring food and my bones are on the floor.I do quests like "help the cook make a cake" and "help the knight find his lost sword" and sometimes the quests are really long and I get bored and just go kill goblins instead because goblins are easy and drop coins and I can buy candy... I mean runes.My favorite place is the Grand Exchange where I sell my junk and buy cool stuff like party hats. One time I saw a guy with a golden party hat and I said "WOW HOW MUCH GP" and he said "100 billion" and I said "I only have 500 gp :("At night I dream about getting 99 in everything and having a max cape that is all the colors and flying around on a flying carpet with my friends.

Are there raw oats in Runescape?I ate a full bowl of raw oats last night because I was hungry and couldn't be bothered making porridge. I just couldn't be bothered fucking around with the whole deal of bring them to boil, all the simmer and stirring bullshit, and all the scrubbing and washing the pot afterwards. So much work!So I just poured hot water on them, let them sit for a minute, then added milk. Wasn't at all bad. Almost as good as regular porridge, just not as smooth and creamy. In fact I would say its more manly. Added a bit of honey and I was in munch town. So quick and easy.This morning I had one of the most satisfying shits in my life. It was fat and juicy, it slid out nice and easy, the toilet paper came away clean. It was the perfect shit. God be praised!It was a work of art.I didn't flush right away, I wanted to behold this truly wondrous poo. "My God, that's the raw oats I ate!"It floated there, looking back at me in a benign and wholesome manner. It took some effort on my part to finally flush it away. Its not easy to say goodbye to your own beautiful creation.This was a life changing experience for me, for I had grown used to hard lumpy shits that were troublesome to squeeze out. You know the type. Nasty little rocks that sometimes get stuck half way out. So you got to sit there grunting and groaning, squeezing down hard before finally consigning them to the abyss. Time consuming. Painful even. Also humiliating. For that type of shit hits the water hard and sends a cold splash back up your butt. Fuck! Once the ordeal is over you pull up your pants and walk out feeling exhausted, the ache still deep in your bowels. Just a horrible experience. I hated taking those shits. But now? No more! I will live life now on easy poo mode. I have fallen in love with raw oats.So I would like to know if there are raw oats in Runescape. For I would like to enjoy trouble-free easy shits in my favorite game as well as in real life.
