You have to think beyond the "muh story" argument when talking about pilgrims tho
They have lower % and they tend to be strong
We already got our first seasonal pilgrim with SDoro (despite that we got a bit of romance, I'm pretty sure you already what happened in her bond and the event). It's a first, so we definitely have more seasonal pilgrims coming.
Now having regular events with Pilgrims could also be an option but it goes back to, again, their lower % and their status as strong / meta.
Spamming events with them is not a nice idea . Right now we have 5 pilgrims per year, without counting reruns (it's like 9 in total). Adding more could really be a problem for a lot of players, even for whales. (and you will definitely have this thread calling SU jewish, more than before)
The last options would be having some kind of event where they just participate in them. Like Privaty in the one we have right now, maybe one of them gets a skin (definitely gacha) but so far, all events always come with a banner. Maybe giving them a rerun could be an answer to that?
The question is, would (You) like that? Like, imagine idk, Scarlet (not as an alt btw) plus other (not so random) nikke in an event like this. She gets nothing but a skin and obviously the story event that comes with it.

Any fandom when it gets big enough is gonna have people trying to define what is the "right" or "wrong" way to enjoy a game, but also, once something explodes that big, people are going to have their own headcanons and maybe enjoy it differently than you do because everyone's different. It happens in every fandom. Just let people have fun with it, and if you don't like how someone else is enjoying the game, you can block or ignore and move on No one's forcing you to like someone else's opinion. It's ok to disagree. But it's such a waste of energy to let a take you disagree with live rent free in your head. Just have your own fun with it! At the end of the day, it's all fiction anyway.
