Etchspace has never been a roguelite. It's HG's attempt at extraction gamemode, considering they're developing an extraction game. The problem with Etchspace is that it's:1) Deterministic, enemies and loot have fixed spawn points2) Isn't challenging, enemies are underleveled and there's no additional mechanics making them stronger3) Doesn't give players the feeling of danger that are the main appeal of extraction games.You literally can't lose while playing Etchspace. Each run gives you at least some progression. You don't lose anything if you're defeated or ejected. And that's exactly what makes it boring.

That gives you a lot of extra room to play with in Wuling plot even after setting up the 2x Zicron, 2x battery and Syringe [A]. They setup things up fast or just copy paste bad blueprints and don't watch to make sure its working over an extended time. Many people playing Endfield don't understand factory game basics. Assuming you're optimizing for space used, it comes down to which portions of the production line tessellate better when broken apart, which is going to be highly situational.
