Finished the event story, and I think I understand the issue with the writer's writing. They kind of just suck at writing fluffy, comfy stories. I think the part that was most exciting was when they were chasing the owl and doing the investigations, but whenever it came to Post Haste and how much they love each other as a family, it was kind of dull. There's a kind of saccharine element to it, where they add a bit too much sweetness in regards to the writing for Post Haste. New Star also being there to just say "we can help too" also was eh. I wouldn't be surprised though if there was a different writer for Post Haste for that matter.
