Here's how Smilegook can still save this piece of shit dumpsterfire of a game if they somehow manage to write a half decent story in the upcoming patch, that is.They remove the save data system and replace it with a roguelike Chaos run system, where players do the best they can without worrying about what cards they remove, copy, buy from the shop, etc... and based on how well they do, they get points. They use these points to craft the save data deck of their choosing in a separate menu outside of Chaos. Some of the better and higher tier abilities, epiphanies and items are locked behind certain achievements or feats of strength. This save data can then be used anywhere, no seasonal lock nonsense, and modified in the future.This way players can focus on having fun in Chaos, and the better they do, the more points they get. Then they use these points as a reward in order to make the deck of their choosing. No more RNG repeating runs ad nauseum until a certain thing happens. Fuck that. That's why people left in the first place. Just make the core game STS-like with side activities that are manual deck building, bossing, and whatever the fuck outside of the roguelike.
The story rewrite can't come soon enough.

Copying divines goes totally against the design goals of divines. They are supposed to be a crazy broken bonus not some thing that becomes the center of your deck's plan and is a necessity to grind out. They'll never give out enough of these mats that you'd realistically make a 4x divine source of water deck with them which is the entire rita rift meta (actually its the only way she's playable at all thanks retard devs). This isnt hard to understand, and the text in the post was pretty smart otherwise, so I feel like they understand this but they also didnt directly address it so idk how serious they are about fixing it.

Run retain beryl with Khalipe with 4 vulture and 2 cost aquilla, and you can clear all the stacks of armor without taking damage (make sure you have Rei or something to use predator for the final 1 armor).You then get 4-5 turns of pure retain beryl damage, you'll hit 750k about which is high diamond. Having 5 turns on side b doesn't matter because after that many turns he puts armor back on anyway, so the built would take too much setup to work again after Beryl pops off for 5 turns max.
