so this was implied in deep oblivion back in november but yeah leva’s got a new frame (body). i didn’t want to believe it at first but now that she mentioned it again in corposant i finally realize that yes indeed she did swap to a new frame. it sounds like something she did very recently though. her old sf frame she values so much was in service up until the beginning of deep oblivion when she i guess stores it somewhere safely to swap into a newer one. this also happens to explain why she’s become so powerful all of a sudden. in gfl1 she wasn’t that great of a doll, even by nat 4* standards. however in gfl2 she’s one of the most overpowered dolls in the game. it didn’t make much sense to me at first, how a doll that trades combat capabilities for electronic warfare specialization can become so adept in combat all of a sudden, but the simple explanation is that she’s just using a new frame. it also explains her change in hairstyle. as for the scar i’m not sure why she still has it. i guess nothings really changed. most dolls got new bodies anyway, such as robella for example. and like she herself says “no matter how your appearance or status changes, you’ll always be you”. thank you for coming

>>561340534I'm working my way through the Berseria EX dungeon on Chaos difficulty. Just did the third boss out of I think 5 last night. Honestly the hardest part is the time limit, on each floor you have to trigger a fight and after clearing it, multiple spawn points for enemies appear in random places on that floor, and you have a set time limit to find them and kill all the mobs. On Chaos especially it's hard because everything has so much health, and the floors get progressively bigger, but you can spend a fairly easy to farm resource to point out the spawn points on your minimap which makes it a little less painful.Once that's over the only thing left to do besides finding random collectibles and maxing out everyone's equipment and cooking level is one more optional boss and the souped up final boss.

On another note, the Corposant story event was pretty alright. I love how the story involved so many different characters, as opposed to just the featured Doll(s) and SKK. Alva and Voymastina were great too. I’m also curious about what will become of Leva, Lenna, and Kalina. I do hate how they’re still doing that thing where they timegate individual parts of an event, like how the challenge mode stages take like two whole weeks to open after the event has already started. I recall Arknights doing this too and it annoyed me there too. I did like how hard the story mode heroic difficulty stages were though. I had a harder time beating Isla in the story stage than in the challenge mode stage. Other than that, Pathforger is alright, Splash Bash is whatever, Shopping Spree is genuinely annoying, and the new Artifact Recovery is great but still has some room for improvement. Decent update overall. Just wish they’d add Leva to that Dreamscape ASMR/background thing already. And for “real” videogame discussion, Death Stranding 2 is amazing so far, and The Sinking City Remastered is still managing to hold my attention. Tempted to play Condemned: Criminal Origins sometime after. Anyway, Leva at lowest settings

I played a lot of the SNES game back in the day so it's been pretty nostalgic going through the old JP games. I quickly found a new favourite in the Mega Drive game though. Being able to play as the raptor and just leap through levels that Grant has to trudge his way through is awesome. The game was clearly not designed with the raptor in mind so he just breaks the level design open which is awesome.

The Power Combat Gloves in Death Stranding 2 are so cool. You can shock people while punching them and you can charge up and fire an electric blast in front of you. Basically the electric bionic arm from MGSV with added shock punches. I love electricity based attacks so much. It's a recipe that's been passed down in her family from her mom to her late older sister and finally to her. It was well-known in her village as being delicious, and her best friend Niko and little brother Laphicet would request it all the time. I've started playing Tales of Symphonia for the first time after doing basically everything there is to do in Berseria. I've gone back to playing Crimson Desert and I want to talk about it a bit. I'm really impressed by the changes they've made since launch. Basically all of my day one complaints were addressed. >Kliff now moves like a normal video game character instead of a sluggish Rockstar style ""cinematic"" crap. >Gliding actually works now instead of being a glorified parachute, feels almost like the cape in the Batman Arkham games now>Storage chest added, thank fuck >Tons of early game difficulty spikes toned down, way more fast travel points and general QOL improvements>All loading times (reloading save, fast travel, etc) massively cut down. Not quite instant but there's no longer any Sonic 06 style wait times. And other stuff. I'd genuinely recommend the game now, this is how it should have launched. Haven't tried the alternate weapon types although I have unlocked a fancy two-hander for the second playable character. >>561870536Open world, but there is a main quest if you want to stick to that. Generally you want to balance it though. Main quest unlocks a lot of features but side content will strengthen you up. A lot of day one players were trying to bum rush the main quest and got stonewalled by the chapter 2 and 3 bosses. This is why the first few bosses were nerfed a bit in the following patches, but they're still a fair challenge if you aren't scoffing down food after every hit. But still, the game is VERY similar in structure to BOTW. The questing and adventuring aspects are top notch, but don't expect award winning writing though lol. The protagonist Kliff is very stoic, almost Link tier but he does still speak a little. The side cast is where a lot of the humour comes in, I'm always finding myself amused by the creative and crude insults that characters come up with.
