Before we had DMichiru, I used to use SShiroko + MReisa to regular effectiveness.I have also used Saori instead of Toki sometimes, and sometimes I'd say she's even better than Toki, but the thing about Toki is "it's way crazier when she wins".Though, watching Saori steadily down Eimi is pretty cool.Protip: this season can get fucking weird. Both pvp and raid endgame give you coins for more students. Pvp gives you ap, which gets you more resources for anything. Raids get you more resources and books. Even JFD gives you more shit. It all adds up over time and while missing out isn't a huge deal short term. Over the course of years, you're going to have less and be malding about not having ue60 Eimi or w/e. Unless you're so casual that you don't do anything outside the story and pulling every once in a blue moon, it's worthwhile to invest in the meta a bit to make the game easier / more time efficient. And of course, more pulls and students. The only downside to being like this is only if you just don't like the gameplay and it pains you to put in a little effort. At that point, why even play?

Maybe Utaha and Miyako coins if you want those more niche students upgraded a bit. 90 AP, 45 coins, refreshed 3 times, 30 coins, 360 total, for 210 coins. That's 360 AP worth of whatever resources you want on students. Including, more efficient return on reports/credits than if you were foolish enough to spend it directly with pvp coins. If I'm carrying around thousands extra than the lower brackets, that's several events where I can just grind all the resources out. While the others will run out of refreshes and ap faster.

The extra I get from pvp is still more than what people who don't have a decent team get. More resources and more expert permits. I'll be saving up extra over the years. I skipped d Aru during her released, because she was a gameplay pull, and I wanted to guarantee 2 sparks for fes. I regretted that because I had to replace that dork for a year until her rerun, making every boss with her more difficult to work around. Now having her, anything that uses her is far better.
