That’s why I decided to introduce new Goddesses. I wanted people to see that both the nations and the era had shifted, so we’ve completely changed the look of the cityscapes. However, it actually took quite a bit of courage for me personally to introduce new Goddesses. I felt a hat was essential, but I agonized over whether to incorporate her image color, red, into the hat or the hair. Since the hat is Rouge’s trademark, I decided it was better to make the hat red, which led to the current design. Also, while the Goddesses belonging to Lowee were ice-attribute users because it's a snow country, Rouge is the Goddess of Sweenia, so I gave her the setting of being "sensitive to the cold" and had her wear a scarf.>She's sensitive to the cold, yet she wears short pants (laughs).Tsunako: Normally, she doesn't even leave the kotatsu in her room (laughs).

After much agonizing, we settled on a clear 50/50 split. The design of [Eclipse Heart] is based on the image of solar and lunar eclipses. While there are many ways to interpret the colors of an eclipse, I personally call the combination of whitish-green and blackish-green "Eclipse Green.">I see. Eclipse Heart’s hair being split half-and-half and styled in drills feels very unique.Tsunako: At first, the hair color was close to Lotte’s, but it didn't really feel like a "fusion" despite the setting of two people transforming together. Back then, when we tried to implement a flight system in the games, it was technically too difficult to develop. However, I thought it might be possible to achieve in this title, so I proposed it. I’ve always wanted to recreate those flight scenes I saw in the anime within the game, so I am truly grateful to the development staff for making my 13-year dream come true.>So flight is a system that finally took shape as a long-held wish of Tsunako-san. Please also tell us how the "Doomsday Battle," another major selling point, came to be.Yasui: Having Neptune and the others fight against giant bosses was something we decided on from the very early stages of development. In the story, Gamindustri would get destroyed multiple times.
