Meandering through an antique shop filled with articles from both human and monster origin hand-in-hand with Asgore as he was worried about accidentally breaking something due to the space being surprisingly compact for a society of such varying sizes in its inhabitants, and as we enter a booth with canning supplies his fears are unfortunately proven valid as his horns loop through dangling cloth woven into the wooden trellis acting as the stall's roofing and unintentionally breaks the whole thing down around us upon leaning over to read a fruit jam recipe book (the owner was thankfully sympathetic and rejected our numerous offers to pay for repairs, though it later took many caresses and reassurances that it wasn't a big deal on the drive home for him to stop feeling immensely guilty about it). Stroking a de-shedding brush along the fur of Asgore's back under his shirt after a tiring day since it has quite the relaxing effect on him even despite ceasing loss of winter fluff over a month ago, all the while I attentively listen and encourage him to tell me all the day's troubles (turns out he received another grilling from Mayor Holiday about giving away flowers again while tending to the plants in their yard, and though I didn't want to upset him by insulting his friend I'll admit I was a bit miffed about his kindness and generosity being punished). Proudly entering the Nose-Nuzzling Contest besides Asgore after hours of training at home to master the technique just like him, and as we take our place on the stage after watching all other contestants give it their best shot I gamble with the risky move of hooking my fingers within his breastplate to pour everything I have into the performance of a lifetime (he tried to be humble about our absolute crushing of the competition as we carried our silver trophy with a hand grasping each loop back home, but his pride couldn't be hidden completely in the way we hugged through mirthful laughter upon hearing the announcement)
