Fighting games are my favorite genre. This game is a fighting game lovers fighting game. Especially for the tag fans.A great art style, some really unique character kits so far, free to play, I can play it with my friends, high skill ceiling, the Fuses allow you to play in different ways, so far the balance has been fantastic and the devs have shown they understand the real problems champs have (don't @ me,) reasons to keep playing (BP,) all characters free in training/offline, strong system mechanics that don't take away from the actual character uniqueness and actually enhance them instead. The balance between how strong offense is and how strong defense is is genuinely perfect. The people that complain that the game is too offensive focused just straight up don't use the system mechanics. Push Block, parry, retreating guard, multiple rolls, multiple air techs, an invincible wake-up attack, etc. There is a ton of room to mater different aspects of the game, from system mechanics to characters to different fuses to movement. It's really like a fighting game sandbox where you get to play the game the way you personally want, even ignoring the tagging aspect if you really want to.This is a game that someone who loves pushing themselves in fighting games can explore forever. The biggest issues are monetization, bugs, and lack of characters. Skins/Bundles need to be about 20-30% cheaper, bugs need ironed out ASAP, and I can't wait to see what characters are getting added and how interesting their playstyles will be.The games bones are great. It just isn't a 1v1 game and people are actually fucking babies who would rather complain incessantly about the idea of having to learn two characters or god forbid actually defend against a block string for longer than 3 seconds, rather than actual just play a video game for fucking fun and learn how it works. Also many former UMV3 FGC players and EVO winners are grinding at it so that's definetely a plus.

Here are my problems with this gaym:1. Interface is all over the place, hard to quit the game, hard to go into training mode, hard to find anything.2. Lobbies are a waste of time and add nothing to me as a player.3. I feel no weight from the animations, it all feels flat and unenjoyable to play.4. The camera is too zoomed in, the hitboxes are too large. You would expect that in a game where 1 hit can lead to a movie length combo that the camera would be zoomed out so you can have clarity on what is going on and that hitboxes wouldn't be twice the size of what they should be.5. There's too many buttons and no motion inputs makes abilities feel unsatisfying.6. Fuses shouldn't exist, the devs couldn't decide what the game should be about so they threw all their ideas into it and made you figure it out instead.7. Active tag is the worst design decision in the game and makes it hard to tell what is going on in an already cluttered game.8. The netcode is all over the place, sometimes it works fine, sometimes it lags a lot, I have gotten more unstable matches in this game than in other modern fighters.9. The input lag is too high, once again, you would expect that in a game where 1 hit will kill your character that the input lag should be low but no, I can feel how any button I press feels sluggish, and very often my throws don't go through, so I can't react to things, I can only predict.10. The characters are sauceless, they all feel like dumbed down versions of characters from other games or incomplete with little synergy in their kit.11. The music is obnoxious, fighting game music has gone downhill for a long time, and this isn't quite on strive levels of bad, but it's still bad, I had to turn it off.12. The skins are too expensive, I can pay $10 at most for a skin if it's really good but no more.13. Should have been a 1v1 game.
