This post is probably not worth reading. League is kind of dead/has old crowds too. Best thing you could do (though probably not feasible) is a mobile port with cross-play using gyro if possible. Second best is PS5/Switch port with gyro controls. The problem with gyro controls is not many people or games use them, but its basically a slightly less accurate mouse. League is adding a WASD mode. Younger people don't really use desktop/laptop computers that much and have poor mouse and keyboard skills. There are some pretty complex mobile games even if its fake depth. Every other gacha has like 5 different systems, 5 different currencies, 300 characters etc. There are a lot of RTSish games on mobile too. Both games are doing a poor job of marketing their games to younger kids. There are also fewer kids and fewer people having them in many countries where the game is popular.

ok i've finally solved it. i've solved the issue of feature creep once and for all. this post IS worth reading.here's how valve can balance their ever-increasing desire to add more mechanics and bullshit to the game with the whole game falling apart due to sheer weight of complexity creep and retardation. introducing, REALMS ASUNDER update>new option when queuing up: realm>for example, Nightsilver Woods, Dragon Aerie, Helio Imperium or whatever>the realms are basically the same map, but with "remixed" heroes, items, jungle creeps, objectives, etc. so the core game doesn't change, but there are limits to how much shit you have to take into account>each realm has a different hero/item pools allowed. the hero pools are set for that realm, and only change between patches. that means if you only queue up on Helio Imperium, you will play against the same 60 or so heroes>there can be overlap between realms for "staple" heroes and items, but the idea is to allow new/returning players to deal with a reduced amount of bloat when they pick up the game, and it allows valve to increase hero complexity without making the game awful to play>when experienced players get bored, they can queue up on another realm and deal with a new hero pool, items etc.>also makes it easier for valve to balance problematic heroes by separating them from their worst counters and so on>valve can also tell which realms are incredibly unpopular (perhaps due to that realm having a bad meta or something)after valve has finished fumbling deadlock, they should get started on the REALMS ASUNDER update

Generally I think they should let more hero abilities damage buildings for faster games and not locked behind a shard/aghs like Viper's orb or Eye of the Storm. This is having no buyback against Luna is such a game ending mistake she can just fuck up HG with her glaives (in a way that Dusa's splitshot or Gyro's flak cannon cannot for some reason). Generally they should make more spells impact buildings

Hello, today I was playing Sven, the Rogue Knight. I was laning alone against Alleria, the Windrunner and Krobelus, the Death Prophet. First of all I disagreed with being solo against those heroes in the first place but whatever. Anyway, I was having some serious issues with Krobelus, the Death Prophet using her Carrion Swarm ability which sends a swarm of bats to damage her enemies dealing 100/175/250/300 damage with a radius of 110-300 to harass me, as well as Alleria, the Windrunner using her Power Shot ability which causes her to charge a bow shot which deals increasing amounts of damage (120/200/280/360 maximum) depending on how long she charges it and the amount of units it passes through. With all the harass, I could never enter the lane and ran out of consumables very quickly (I am referring to Ancient Tangos of Essifation, and Healing Salves). What can I do about this?
