The twin has to be identical and can't be of the opposite sex. This obviously suggests that the twin will turn evil and fuck you over. Otherwise why lock him to the same sex? It's actually kinda stupid because if they could be the opposite sex you'd be able to experience both the female and male VA for the main character/twin in one playthrough. Most men/women don't play the opposite gender so they rarely get to experience the opposite gender VA but this would be a really good way to let you experience it.

I initially thought that your twin would die early and be turned into the hybrid (it's on the cover) and the big reveal later in the game would be that it's your twin. Maybe have some secret ending where if you manage to be sympathetic and figure out that it's your twin you'll be able to cure it.But then why force it to be of the same gender? Why couldn't you have a twin sister?
