SAnby/Trigger likes Astra more on most fights, but against Typhon specifcally Nicole blows Astra out of the water: the entire fight is stun windows and so Nicole can circumvent the hardswap problem entirely by only needing to EX/Chain/Ult during stun for perfect uptime. You do ideally want to spread out your damage buffs still though, just raw def shred isn't theoretically the best if you lose enough of other stats in exchange. It's why Orphie is so good for SAnby, she's both providing 1000 ATK as well as 25% def shred that synergizes with Trigger's. In this case Seed is already providing the ATK/CDamage (with Cissia providing 45% more CDamage), so Nicole's def shred becomes a pretty perfect fit. Trigger in theory should also be very good for Seed/Cissia, though supposedly it runs into a pretty unique problem of shocking Defiler too often and fucking over the stage buff. She only barely outscores Nicole since neither can reach a 4th stun, only 3. Maybe some other boss, though supposedly Trigger was worse on UCC too.
