One thing I hate about Abnos in Limbus is the lack of context to ruminate about their represented concept or themes, what with all of their logs being written from an outsider-looking-in POV and no longer having Ruina-style battle screen text (outside end-of-chapter Milishit which is literally just the lyrics appearing randomly) so you don't really get the Abnos' worldview to help color in the missing lines. There are exceptions with strong enough themes or mechanics to sell what they are, like Four-Hundred Roses or King in Binds, but they're few and far between.I'm particularly salty about Headless Ichthys. Its battle log is just a boring rundown by Meursault that only goes to Level 1. Its EGO Gift is exactly what you'd expect from it. Its event is literally just "splash around in water" or "piss it off". Even the voicelines for the Fluid Sac EGO are generic as hell, so you can't even guess by trying to think how it relates to Don and Faust.
