They did say that it uses the Free Lanes content and introduces the Incursion system into it. Since it's a Story DLC, that likely means the 4gb+ size is mostly custom textures and audio files from the voiced lines, otherwise they probably would have sold this in the creation club, rather than it strategically being bundled with the Premium Edition to get PS5 players to buy it for the $5 discount.

I think it's worse, because they shoved the initial part of the Tracker's Alliance into the game as an update and expect you to pay for the rest.
It's not, like, a free creation .esm that you can just remove in the files.
It's now part of the main game, if you don't like it, you must rollback to before update 1.12.30.
Reminds me of those DLC advertisement quests in Dragon Age: Origins
>>
>>561753206
I kinda like it myself. Matter of fact, I'm about to redo the Shattered Space content before the update drops in case Terran Armada references it. I'm also curious to see if any Starborn dialogue will appear to shake things up a bit.
>>
Playing vanilla is so fucking painful but I'm determined to have a save with everything done before the 7th that can't possibly be fucked up by the update. If Terran Armada has no faction interactions like Trackers Alliance built in I'll be pissed

>If Terran Armada has no faction interactions like Trackers Alliance built in I'll be pissed
Why would Tracker's Alliance care about what faction you're in?
>>
>>561793505
Not him, but the fact that the Deep Dive stated that the Terran Armada takes issues with the UC and Freestar probably suggests that they'll comment about you being part of the Vanguard, Sysdef and/or Rangers at least. I fully expect this to be flavor text though
>>
>>561793943
Sure, but that makes sense. The Tracker's alliance has no real reason to care.

Could Terran Armada + Free Lanes combined have more content than Shattered Space in terms of new POIs, quests and mechanics? If so Bethesda and Todd might finally get their first W in gaming since 2012. I know they said Terran Armada is smaller than Shattered Space but Terran Armada + Free Lanes might have more hours of content combined
>>
>>561797318
I doubt Free Lanes + Terran Amada will have more content than Shattered Space.

>If so Bethesda and Todd might finally get their first W in gaming since 2012.
-Fallout 4 came out in 2015 and was a massive s
success.
-Far Harbor came out in 2016 and is often considered one of, if not the, best DLC/xpack they have ever done
-Starfield came out in 2023 and was the biggest launch they ever had, one of the top selling games of the year, has had over 15 million players, and has remained one of the most played games on Gamepass since it came out.
The only thing they've done that was an objective L was Fallout 76's launch, but even then people largely consider Wastelanders a turning point for that game.
>>
>>561798182
Shattered space is a whole ass planet whereas Terran Armada is explicitly just a faction. So if anyone here did any faction quests they'd know what to expect from Terran Armada.
>>
>>561799561
it's not even a whole planet its just one zone of the planet
>>
>>561798182
It depends on your definition of content. Shattered Space likely has more story and quests to tackle, but doesn't really introduce much in terms of new gameplay mechanics that would be useful to you outside of it's worldspace.
>>
Stuff I'd like to see them do in future updates/DLC
-Robot crafting/customization similar to Automatron
-Space station building for outposts
-The fuel, and extreme environment, systems cut from the base game as optional hardcore options.
-Starship blueprinting and maybe outpost blueprinting
-Mech and space walk segments(even though I don't think they'd be usable everywhere)
-Finding ways to hide more loading screens(like animation of flying into clouds when landing on a planet)
-More crew options(like being able to assign crew to certain systems/habs for more bonuses)
-Another Free Lanes/Terran Armada style update/smaller DLC, likely adding some of the stuff from the above, expanding on LIST, and Argos extractors, and the outpost/resource gathering systems and adding a story where we help LIST set up a colony like Raven Rock in the Bloodmoon Xpack for Morrowind.
-Starborn DLC that expands on the temples, artifact, and Unity
That's about what I could see Bethesda adding in the future.
>>
>>561801360
>extreme environment
That one is already a thing you can turn on in the Gameplay Options
>>
>>561802164
Na, I'm talking about what Todd mentioned where you 100% absolutely needed multiple space suits, each for different kinds of environments/hazards, levels of extreme.
>>
>>561802354
Ew fuck that
>>
>>561802354
Sound annoying. If they actually add something like that, somebody will probably create a cloud storage mod that autoswaps between those space suits so you don't have to go all the way to your ship inventory to change, unless you get a bigger carry weight to make up for carrying all them in your inventory at the same time.
>>
>>561802354
if you play on the max environmental hazard settings that's already partially true, I just minmax temp because it's the most common hazard

>>
>>561746016
2 years in and modding is still not to the level of Fallout 4 or Skyrim. Whats the issue?
>>
>>561814613
Perfect games don't need mods.
>>
>>561814613
I doubt you even know what kind of mods you want
>>
>>561814613
Well,
1.Nothing will match Skyrim levels of modding. Skyrim is a unique outlier. Not even Fallout 4 matches Skyrim's level of modding. I don't think TES6 modding with match even Skyrim's.

2. Modding for hard scifi is a lot harder than a fantasy series like Skyrim, or a retro future setting like Fallout. In a harder scifi setting there's a lot less wiggle room to explain how things work, and people expect more focused designs, whereas in Skyrim you can basically make whatever you want, and just hand wave it with "a wizard made it" or just slap some tubes on a gun and call it SCIENCE! in Fallout.

3. Hard scifi settings in general tend to be some of the least enjoyed settings. Space scifi generally only works in sci-fantasy settings like Star Wars, or Mass Effect. Stuff like Starfield, or Elite Dangerous, is really only enjoyed by a much smaller handful of autists.

4. While Starfield had a major issue with exploration, the rest of its core gameplay systems tend to be a lot better than Skyrim or Fallout 4's. When most of the base game is better, there is less room, or less desire, for people to move in and make mods. Like, Fallout 4 added in MANY of gameplay mods people made for Fallout 3/NV, as well as forum requests. Fallout 4 tends to have less sweeping overhaul mods, outside of Sim Settlements, as a result. The more stuff Bethesda add to their games, the less people will have a desire to mod since the game just does it.

5. Bethesda has also gotten a lot better at adding requests into the games in question, instead of saving them for the next game they make. Free Lanes is making a number of high profile mods basically obsolete. So why spend time making a mod when you can just nag Bethesda and they will likely make it themselves?

Perfect games don't exist. That is why we need mods.

to make space trucking work in the game we need few things:
dynamic prices for trading commodities, i.e. buy cheap ore containers at mining centers, sell at refinement facilities for profit, or buy luxury goods at Jamison and sell to Va'ruun rats.
pirate interceptions (free lanes should do that)
multi-jump delivery missions with actual rewards

Space travel should also have an actual economics instead of just being done with a few clicks. They even have some parts if it already in the game, like helium consumption, but the way it's done it barely even counts as a decoration, much less an actual game mechanics.
It's embarrassing how half-assed some parts of the game are, there's clearly something gone very wrong during the development and they're not doing a good job trying to fix it.

>even in starfield you can increase cargo hold space, and do some radiant missions to haul shit, but they pay so laughably little, like 1.5k credits, really nigga?
thing about those, if you have a proper set up (which is cheap and quick to acquire), those missions (and there are larger ones that pay more) are the quickest and easiest credits in the game. Accept mission, fast travel to destination, mission complete. Same with passenger hauling. Its all done in seconds.

With precognition being a Starborn power and Inaza seeing visions of events that actually does occur, one's gotta wonder if regular people can actually have some level of access to these abilities without having interacted with the artifacts and the temples thanks to divine providence, or if there's simply a Starborn working behind the scenes.

SFSE by itself shouldn't do that, you likely have another mod dependent on it that's causing that. You can look into the sfse.txt file found in the following file path to see what mods are being loaded into it: \Documents\My Games\Starfield\SFSE\Logs

Get the Achievement Enabler by Priqrade, manual download and put the .dll into common/Starfield and you can have achievements without SFSE.

My newest character is a female pilgrim with Wanted as her only trait. I never play with the main quest, Constellation or the Frontier, but I use the encounter with the artifact as motivation for each character, depending on the concept. This one's vision had her in contact with the Chunk founder (who knows about the Starborn, and more besides), who anoited her as a Chunk reclamation specialist, but with religious context. Forbade her from having anything to do with Constellation, and set her on a holy mission to retrieve missing Chunks and return them to the colonial retail ecosystem by any means possible. She also must collect all copies of the Chunk manual and biography she finds and keep them in a shrine. Basically a Sister of Battle but deifying Blombart.

And if that new rover is hidden in a radiant quest, there have to be tons of other hidden rewards. I'm hoping they've fleshed out the Starborn as well, maybe made it so you can meet more of them or their leader/creators. I imagine there will be some way to freely fly between star systems if you upgrade your grav drive with xtech enough. They could be hiding literally so much in this update. >Hopefully they've fleshed out the factions too.
The faction questline in Starfield are already some of the longest/most developed Bethesda has done.
>I imagine you can take over and modify the Anchor Point starstation
I don't see why they would do this.
> And if that new rover is hidden in a radiant quest
They said it was a POI. Not a radiant quest.
>there have to be tons of other hidden rewards
Not really.
>I'm hoping they've fleshed out the Starborn as well, maybe made it so you can meet more of them or their leader/creators
This makes no sense for Free Lanes or Terran Armada. This would have to be its own DLC.
>I imagine there will be some way to freely fly between star systems if you upgrade your grav drive with xtech enough.
This also makes no sense. Xtech upgrades are am ere 10% increase. There's no way to fly between star systems in real time at that speed. You'd just use the grav drive.
>They said it wasn't 2.0 but thats just to avoid comparison. They are definitely hiding some major overhauls and new content.

No you're fine, you're just roleplaying as a incurious dangerous bumbling idiot with a weapon. You willingly just don't care about any high concept rhetoric and just shoot, you don't even read notes or other clues because you just don't care, and even if you have the the skill to hack the Master lock on that laptop you'd just do it for the XP and don't read it, or just don't bother tracking any source of information down despite "Tracker" being your job title

You're fully immersed in your roleplaying, and that's great. Keep at it
>>
>>561963498
>high concept rhetoric
This is /stag/ bro. I think you're talking about a different game.
>>
That last shattered space mission felt like a total fever dream, the guy being all schizo like in the end after all that work didn't help, and then the complete pandemonium during the fighting was just completely insane (I fought everyone for some reason instead of just running through) and then that ending. All for none of the overarching questions about what the fuck just happened to remain unanswered and the stereotypes about the schizo cult only got validated even more.
>>
>>561956784
If it's anything like The Vulture, it will probably see a continuation in a different Tracker's Alliance quest depending on the order you did them in and if the target actually survived (remember, you can just knock out some hostile bounty targets like the Mantis Imposter with EM weapons instead of killing them). Though I don't know if that occurs in an existing quest, or if Bethesda plans to add something like that in a future quest. Also provided you didn't miss that scene by picking into that latch to enter into room above before she knocks you out towards the end of the quest, the Mantis Imposter is that female doctor you see in that hallucination. There's also hints all throughout the quest that suggests she has some association with the Trackers Alliance and may have either been an apprentice of Volk (you can coax information about him from No. 1) or probably was a trooned out Volk.
>>
>>561963848
If there isn't some notes and terminals lying around that Bethesda expects you to read to get a better understanding as to what's going on, it will probably be answered more in the next story expansion. Shattered Space was mostly just one big hint about the Starborn/Unity/Creator's influence over House Va'ruun and the otherworldly nature of Grav Drive technology.

One of my biggest gripes with this game is the way weapons scale. Some weapons outclass others, which means some are left behind in the endgame. All weapons should be viable in endgame in my opinion. I believe some weapons don’t even have advanced tiers like the rattler.

Will the dlc and update alleviate this?
>>
>>561991782
>Will the dlc and update alleviate this?
Probably. They're implementing new ways to upgrade your weapons as well a means to reroll their stats, so it should make the weaker ones more viable to use. You also could use the difficulty options to increase your damage against enemies to make this weapons more viable. The only real useless shit in this game on higher level planets are the grenades since you can't even strengthen those.

>novablast disruptor for non-lethal action
>obviously cutter
The rest is either piss weak, needs reloading too often, uses rare/expensive ammo or can't be silenced.

>>
>Roleplayers Alternate Start
>Shipwrecked origin starts you off on a desolate planet with nothing but a few survival objectives

I just had the most fun on Starfield I've ever had. Why isn't this shilled more? Its basically just like the start of No Man's Sky, and I thought most people that like Bethesda games like to start as a nameless nobody as much as possible. I can't imagine a more blank slate start than this: especially since you can choose to not trigger the main story until you find the artifact naturally in the universe - which I suppose the normies would hate, but isn't this the biggest gripe from people that love Bethesda games - like in Skyrim people like to put off being Dragonborn as long as possible.
>>
>>561793505
Sorry I've been focused on getting through the main and side quest plus trackers and some minor quets. Only have Shattered Space left and I fucking hate Shattered Space

Because I've become reliant on qol mods which make a huge difference the gameplay like Missles locking on up to 5km, being able to dock with stations at 2km, looking space debris from 2km, being able to hit r to buy or sell everything at once, mod to skip lock picking minigame, and more

Neat. So some things to note about this video
1. Kinggath does NOT have early access to the Free Lanes and Terran Armada content and will be addressing any issues these might bring as soon as they've played through these
2. There may be some changes to existing content and dialogue in Watchtower and McClarence for the sake of consistency due to the similarities seen between them and the upcoming update and DLC
3. They were already in the middle of developing new content for those creations

So if any of you are in the middle of playthrough with either the Watchtower or McClarence creations, you may want to hold off on progression through them if you haven't already finished them in case this update breaks them in some way
>>
>>562014701
>We're likely going to have to not only modify our systems accordingly, but we may have to change our content in some way.
>We're likely going to have to make a content update that is more significant than a patch.
I'm glad their thinking about that.
I did enjoy McClarence Outfitters for giving the crap legendaries I found a purpose.

1. Making Trident Luxury an active cruise line that the player can book trips with. Would make for a nice romantic getaway
2. More naval activity on planets, add fishing boats and yachts that the player can pilot around the oceans
3. Dirt bike land vehicles

Planes and helicopters might be too much since commercial space ships are a thing, plus we need more cities around the planets for those to make sense. Same could be said of trains now that I think about it, unless those are connected to mining facilities and serve to transport materials rather than passengers

The only times I ever got caught were when I forgot I had something on me and didn't pay attention to scan notification, and also that one time when I wanted to start the CF quest the bad way. In any case I simply walk past those things most of the time because I can get all the money I need just from selling loot from raiding some random POI on the right side of the star map. And even if I pick something up I sell it off first thing at the Den, and only go into guarded systems when I can't even be bothered to, or end up piloting some weak ass garbage that can't jump directly to Wolf without intermediate stops (if you fully power the grav drive you can jump away before you get caught).

>2. Modding for hard scifi is a lot harder than a fantasy series like Skyrim, or a retro future setting like Fallout. In a harder scifi setting there's a lot less wiggle room to explain how things work, and people expect more focused designs, whereas in Skyrim you can basically make whatever you want, and just hand wave it with "a wizard made it" or just slap some tubes on a gun and call it SCIENCE! in Fallout.

I wouldn't say that. with SF we now have stuff like Unity so you can pretty much use that as your gatcha moment. i still need to update my universe mod so people can properly use it...

Oboeshoestwos playthroughs of Starfield are the most stressful thing I've ever sat through. I rage-watched so much.
He's ADD or something, skips through text, doesn't know where he's going or what he's doing, never figures out the controls or the way the game works. I thought if I stuck with it, he'd get better, because he's a funny guy, but holy fuck I've legitimately ruined my own day.
Is this how kids play this game? Is this why they fell off? Because they never read anything or understand whats going on and then just call the game dumb?
>>
>>562076909
Yes actually, starfield is designed for older slower gamers which is why the youngins lose interest quickly due to their ADD.
>>
>>562076995
He spent legit like half an hour trying to dock at the Key. He kept staring at it, wondering why it wouldn't let him dock. Kept hailing them. Tried to use the galaxy map to dock, ended up clicking on the planet, so he landed at the Lock instead, didn't realise because he wasn't paying attention, spent like twenty minutes running around the planet "looking" for the Key (he just got distracted with chat and boosting around), goes back into space when he realises he's in the wrong place, STILL can't figure out docking because hes just sitting at like 1KM away from the Key, before flying around and kind of accidentally getting within range and finally fucking docking.

I legit didn't like the argument that kids just didn't get the game, but now I'm seeing it first hand and its unbelievable. The game wasn't for everyone, sure, but if this is how they played, its on them.
>>
>>562076909
well if you're forced to read all day at school then you're not booting up a game just to read, like did you plug in mario cartridge in your nintendo machine to read lore? starfield just isn't really for anyone that wasn't a bethesda gamer, and late zoomers to gen alphas certainly aren't.

You guys really need to try No Distant Map Markers, I think this was the one mod that changed Starfield the most for me. I didn't realize how much it bugged me to land in a random spot on a planet and see all these map markers on my compass/map, now I feel more encouraged to explore and it feels great. I remember doing something similar in Skyrim with Navigation Compass Overhaul, its immersive, try it out
>>
>>562081561
I think that ties in how Todd described planet surface gameplay. You land, check if there's something interest you in the area, go back up to space if done.
>>
So when the update comes out, where is the best place to monitor to see what mod(s) are broken? My modlist is lightweight and I've avoided SFSE and space-related mods as those will obviously break. I imagine it'll be some starfield discord?
>>
>>562077827

>Eventually goes back, sits in chair
Its 21:00 when he sits down
>"Maybe uhh 5 hours? Maybe then it'll be day time
>Its still dark when he gets up
>"Wtf its still dark, maybe if I sit for five more hours?"

This isn't even about zoomers now.
>>
>>562081561
this ties in well with dark universe overtime just be sure to get the patch to make data slates drop less and for the rewards to be more lucrative
>>
>>562076995
Starfield is designed to be played after smoking a whole lot of weed, putting on noise cancelling headphones, and immersing yourself - streamers feel the constant pressure to be entertaining and zoomies just want bing bing wahoo thats why they play gacha games where you just click exclamation points in menus and get a dopamine hit for free effortless rewards
>>
>>562082265
starfield is designed to be played by a middle aged man in the living room with his belly sticking out of his shirt, a beer on the side while completely standing the whole playthrough with a TV that's places a little too high on top of the fireplace so you gotta crane your head a little and an expensive sound system that's way too big for your living room TV.
>>
>>562081864
Aside from SFSE mods, you can probably expect the following mod types to get broken with the upcoming Starfield update:
-Any mod that has to inject new code into the game to work (Animation Frameworks, Achievement Enablers, Custom Console Command mods)
-Any mod that affects the UI
-Any mod that affects how the procgen works
-Any mod designed to fix vanilla bugs
-Any mod designed to alter vanilla scripts (Fair warning that you might not be able to remove these without causing your saves to get corrupted or become unloadable)

Worse case scenario, you may want to prepare to head through the Unity to clean your save of left over scripts left behind by some of these types of mods.

>>
>>562083496
My recommendation would be to make a new profile of your modlist on MO2 (So you still have your full list, but every mod is disabled), and just wait a few days and monitor Nexus for your favorite mods to be updated, and slowly enable them one by one, or check the Comments page to see if they broke or not. That way, you can still play on day 1 and then each day you can check Nexus, enable/update accordingly.
>>
>>562081561
This is how I play Starfield actually. I like to make a character with Explorer background, and then I focus hard on putting points into the 3 starting skills and I just go around planets and scan. I don't use mods to require less scans or anything or else the scanning tree is just entirely useless and it makes the game feel more "gameified"
>>
SFSE will probably get updated after a few hours, but SFSE is not the problem, it's Address Library
>>
>>562085973
Probably won't matter for some SFSE dependent mods, because depending on how significant this update turns out to be, some modders may need to update their own mods as well instead of waiting for Address Library to do all the work.
>>
>>562084284
>I like to make a character with Explorer background, and then I focus hard on putting points into the 3 starting skills and I just go around planets and scan.
I enjoy fully surveying all the UC and Freestar Systems
Cheyenne is a bitch to complete, but it's a great way to raise companion affinity
The REV-8's speed and increased scan also help.

I think I'll get rid of Astrogate for now considering it is still pretty buggy to use on my end, sometimes sending me to the wrong planets and not ending enemy space encounters properly. I mostly wanted it for the animated real time travel, but since Free Lanes is adding that for Interplanetary Travel at least, I think swapping that out and opting to use Seamless Grav Jump instead might be the least buggy means to make jumping to different solar systems less immersion breaking.

Maybe if this was your average unmoddable JRPG or narrative driven game. Much like Skyrim, the activities in this game isn't finite thanks to radiant quests, so you don't run out of things to do. That makes it rather easy to hit a high level count if you enjoy a game enough to see yourself playing it for months or even years on end, just ask any MMO player. That being, I myself actually did largely exploit a mod added item that significantly increases experience gained to grind somewhere between 50 to 100 levels, it was one of the Nuka Cola drinks added by one of TankGirl's mods.

Grav Dash is probably one of the best powers you can use in this game, not only for the speed boost, but also because of the temporary attack damage boost buff it gives you. Kid Stuff doesn't give you anything unique:
The weapon and armor you're gifted are just normal non-legendary items renamed.
Even the ship, Wanderwell, is just something you can build yourself. The frontier at least has a unique hab, and the Razorleaf gives unique space encounters.
The only genuinely unique things Kid Stuff provides is a bedroom in a town with your Lodge bedroom right there, and the Granpa's Meatloaf recipe (60 minutes of +2% xp), although you could just buy Shepherd's Pie down in Kay's Place and save yourself time and resources (30 minutes of +2% xp, remember they don't stack). Both of these are trounced by Groat Pie, introduced in Shattered Space (30 minutes of +5% xp).
So yeah. Kid Stuff sucks. Also doesn't gel well with a bunch of other RP traits (e.g. Serpent's Embrace/Freestar).
Introverted isn't bad, it's just that it's unnecessary the moment you get Personal Atmosphere. All stamina boosts are. A waste of a trait slot.
Hero Worshipped, on the other hand, actually provides you with THE pack mule companion. The Adoring Fan can carry 30kg more than anyone else due to his unique Weight Lifting rank 2 skill (Mathis only has Rank 1).
As this is a physical skill, Rank 4 of Leadership doubles this to 60kg, so the default 135kg+ Leadership Rank 2's 50kg+ 60kg = 245kg. So you get an actually unique benefit with the Adoring Fan.
I intend on going Bounty Hunter with Hero Worshipped, Taskmaster, and Wanted for my TA playthrough.

It sort of is if you're actually participating in communities like this one. And in game human interaction can be weird sometimes, you might see people do some gross ERPing like you might see people do in games like VRChat, Second Life and Roblox

Been noticing people changing their opinions on Starfield lately and having a more enjoyable experience with it than they did when they first played it. The negative discourse surrounding the game really did fuck a lot of people over, that or the quality of life updates improved the experience for them
>>
>>562180295
for me it really was just the lack of immersive ship flying experience and the fact that only humans exist
the poor fps mechanics/feel is expected from bethesda and many other bethesda quirks that i won't complain about because that's what makes them bethesda games, and the perceived emptiness of planets was expected (seriously what did you expect from a game with 1500 planets? and that's literally how they are in real life?)
with the new update, ship flying is going to be much better with the hyperspeed thing so i can at least pretend i'm not just fast traveling everywhere. it is a shame that the engine will never support some kind of orbit/atmosphere entering and sub orbital flying like elite danger, but it's whatever. the out-of-ship ground gameplay is much better here anyway.
i think it would have been really nice to have alien races though, i keep thinking about how TES has orcs and elves and shit, and in starfield we coulda had full on alien race wars in the system with weird green people.
>>
>>562135408
My launch character is 130 without touching the main quest beyond dropping the artifact off at the Lodge, and I still have not done everything (though I have done most things)
>>
>>562181114
I love that there's no alien races. It's a huge part of the appeal of Starfield's universe for me. I am not too much of a fan of fantasy, I tend to prefer realistic/grounded settings. And Starfield is very grounded if you completely ignore the main quest which I've always done. Which is why I love the alternate start mod so the main quest doesn't even exist in my game. I think the main quest is only there to provide some kind of fantasy for mass appeal's sake.

I honestly really enjoy Starfield's setting. I love that every gun, ship, and food item is manufactured by an actual company that exists in the lore. I love that the UC depicts itself as a bastion of civilization but underneath is actually space North Korea. I love that Freestar is just people trying to escape from the UC's authoritarian government. I love little details like how Akila is the capital of the FC, but its power is symbolic only and Neon is the functional capital. I love how the Settled Systems is basically a post-apocalyptic setting following the exodus from Earth and the Colony War. It's a very human setting, everywhere people are just trying to survive and get by. I feel the presence of alien races would distract from this significantly.

Sentient aliens should be a thing, but they should be isolated in their own solar system or parallel dimension rather than be integrated into regular human society to avoid breaking established lore as much as possible, similar to House Va'ruun. Shattered Space already introduced the concept of alien creatures spawning from a vortex dimension, so they can feasibly do this as well.

Dropping missiles on them really only serves to break their protective shielding, you need to hit them with regular fire power afterwards. Alternatively, you can also just blast them with the Solar Flare power a few times, Kinggath probably didn't realize that power ignores the shielding yet.

>Does it have sex mods?

1. Gergel Ebanex
-The furthest along with over 1000 animations
-Initiated through a gun or setting up a hotkey (gun allows for more furniture picking accuracy)
-Allows for blowjobs (currently only for straight animations) and furniture use
-Has lesbian and gay sex animations
-Has MMF and FFM threesome animations
-Does not have orgasm animations
-Allows for NPC on NPC scenes
-Designed around it, but does not force you to use Robert S body

2. SnuSnuField
-Second largest animation library, currently supporting 9 positions, no orgasm animations yet
-Initiated through stripping completely naked or setting up a hotkey
-The least buggy of the three
-Has threesome animations (Currently MMF)
-Has kissing and hugging animations, including a separate mod option if you don't need the sex
-Can perform necrophilia with it (lol)
-Does not support lesbian nor gay scenes
-Currently not updated for Starfield Animation Framework

3. NAF Seduce and NAF Surender
-Currently has 3 built in animations
-Initiated through dialogue after using a consumable
-Each position has multiple animation stages, including an orgasm one
-Has voices but only for the player right now
-Allows for same sex interactions
-Designed around it, but does not force you to use Robert S body

Note: Mods that don't support SAF still work under Native Animation Framework, but they will require you to roll back to the November 19th 2024 (1.14.74) update.

-Plagiarized someone else's review of a game
-Lied about having talked to a dev that worked on Suicide Squad to make up shit about it, when the game was already so bad you didn't need to make stuff up to find plenty of reasons to hate it
-Lies in his reviews constantly. Like he claimed that it takes 10 hours to get out of the area in Horizon 2 that is the same area as Horizon 1 when its actually a 30 minute tutorial section
-His Bethesda videos are some of the worst. Like he's claimed his "sources" who are "modders" have said that Bethesda game's can't unload objects unless you go through a load screen.... despite the fact every game from Morrowind onward does this regularly. Also claimed that Bethesda should do stuff like "break the world up into boxes, and only load the box you are in" to make the game run better, when, again, Bethesda games have done this since Morrowind, and Bethesda is like THE company that has really worked on this kind of tech.
He just makes up the most stupid shit constantly to get those grifter clicks.

>>562287664
at least one person must have thought of it. and then everyone else was like yeah we're making a bethesda game and that kind of stuff is too much busy work for the player. just let them loading screen fast travel everywhere, press a button to magically repair the ship, and just forget about a fueling mechanic.
at least we have mod framework that allows this stuff to be added in though.
>>
>>562287958
The Ship Parts should be quick ship health fixes, but there should be status effects for your ship that kneecap grav drive or shielding or something, and require you to either land or space walk to repair with the mining laser or some thing.
>>
>>562288049
thats a good idea. the semi-permanent damage that your ship modules take shouldn't repair itself over time because you gave it power, but you should have to get out there and fix it up.
really the only problem is how convenient it is in this world to just grav jump somewhere to have it fix for you though.

there are mods that allow you to do that but the biggest issue is that zero g is also applied to your ship, i think bethesda has the same issue as probably they haven't figured out how to have different layers with different gravity in the same scenario, that or maybe they just don't consider this an important feature

Go full cyberpunk 2077 and make an animated miniseries. No one reads spinoff graphic novels besides people who are already into the source material

Problem solved.
>>
>>562310990
And hire some legendary sci-fi authors to write them. We need talented people to contribute to the world building. Elder Scrolls was kind of bland until Morrowind and dudes like Kirkbride adding flavor and richness.

Space walking makes little sense as a real mechanic. Realistically, you'd basically never leave your ship unless an absolute last resort emergency required it, due to the sheer danger involved with space walks. That's something that would come up as a singular objective during a mission, but a general gameplay mechanic.
>>
>>562326202
It makes sense if you're mining asteroids or sifting through destroyed space station debris, something Tiny Reasons to Explore Space added.
>>
>>562326336
Mining asteroids also makes really little sense in a setting like Starifeld. With access to the grav drive, and so many planets, there's little reason to mine the much more dangerous/unstable asteroids then it is to jut land on a planet, breathable atmosphere or not, and mine there. Asteroid resources would be overall too minicsule to make it really worth it.

As for space stations. Starfield's more generally grounded setting means there aren't the typcial scifi giga-max space stations all over the place, and there's been what? One space station in lore that's actually been DESTROYED? That being the OG Den.

Any Wabbajack modlist worth installing? NSFW hopefully
>>
>>562327472
Yes. Journals of Jyggalag for power fantasy, or its counterpart Mantras of Mara if you prefer sexlab over Ostim. If you prefer survival and as close to requiem as you can get without being Requiem, you want Hymns of Hircine. all nsfw with sex mods
>>
>>562326202
>Space walking makes little sense as a real mechanic.
Are you aware this game features space wizards?
>>
>>562333330
Yes, and the space wizards don't change that, even with the space wizards, there's still almost no reason in-unvierse to exit your ship like that.

I always love this room temp IQ/midwit argument of "well, there's one thing that's this way, so that means everything else can be extreme also!" as if there is no such thing as severity, like things can only exist on the polar extremes, with nothing in between. It's really the argument of people wanting to find a reason to argue, without putting effort into making an actual point.

its that simple

Oh I see the problem. You have zero imagination and not a fibre of original thinking.

Yeah. I ended up loading my save from right before stepping through the Unity, and just continued to play in the first universe. There's really no reason for the player character to abandon all of their friends/family/everything just to participate in the same pointless nonsense that they already know the other Starborn are wrapped up in. The novelty of seeing a few meme dialog changes here and there isn't worth it, plus the Starborn gear sucks.

My character does. He lost himself in the process and started to see an automated version guided by a meaningless pursuit for power. It took way too long and for a younger version to appear that motivated him to leave the cycle behind and start to see what life has to offer beyond the jumping between universes.

can do 4 out of 6 tier II fabrications
problem is weakness for tier III fabrications, can only make one thing, but i dont think many systems even have stuff for tier III in one system

Just reached level 50 and I feel like there are so many "mandatory" skills. I've put more than half of the points into skills that unlock new stuff and haven't even touched the combat skills. What's up with that?

But as Starborn you can keep everyone alive.
