Found the two witches I hadn't encountered yet and finally found a weapon to replace my beloved spear. I remembered some anons saying there was something neat up in the NW corner of the map and I needed to comb that region to track down a witch, so I went up there. That was definitely a worthwhile part of my trek, though I'm not 100% sold on the two-handed sword moveset compared to the spear. Hound's Claw on a spear was basically a win button against nearly everything since you can press (or spam and watch things melt) it while you're holding light attack for the basic combo but it comes out super slow with the two-handed sword.

Anyone complaining about the new horse riding hasn't realised you can let go of forward (recentre left stick on controller) for a split second, just a single moment, to stop sprinting and get some stamina back. You can sprint more continuously now than you could before. Absolute brainlets once again complaining about a non-issue. Fucking wild.
