With the devs increasing the rate that players stagger enemies and how easy it has become it leads me to believe that staggering has been a common complaint. Which that leaves me wondering if players simply aren't able to recognize Ira mask enemies who are stagger resistant. Just a thought I started considering.

It's basically a classic anime trope. You don't activate the shining bonds of friendship boosters to file your taxes. They're special occassion only when you're otherwise down and out. Writing this reminds me of Tales of Zestiria where I dunno 10-15 hours in the game unlocks merge with your friends mode super powers and after a couple battles with generic enemies where the AI allies immediately hit the merge button, fills the screen with particle effects and kills everything in a couple seconds, and there's no reason not to do that. I immediately turned the game off and have never played it again.

The architecture game in AI Limit is still top notch. That first boss was certainly aggressive but at least it stunlocks as easily as regular enemies.

The main roguelike gamemode doesn't really appeal to me. Barely got the final boss on the easiest difficulty with a broken ass build and 3 revives. The boss rematches and gauntlet are good additions. But I haven't been able to clear the gauntlet yet, dunno if I'll get back to it anytime soon.
