>>562073309yeah they aremainly it's the action prioritization jank and how you can't interrupt certain animations. like kliff doesn't doublejump unless he has reached the apex of his jump, he doesn't jump if he's near a wall because he will climb instead, he won't jump if he's near an edge. he won't jump if he's sliding. all of that jank is just produced by a basic movement ability. then you have all the shit that you get from the tank controls. just trying to get kliff to point his face toward a wall so i can double jump and glide in the right direction requires effort. the horse controls like it's in slow motion. kliff controls like he's in slow motion. when using the claw to grapple up, you can't interrupt the landing animation. also horse controls like shit, but it's also the summoning part that is affected by jank. horse summon gets pushed back in the rendering queue so sometimes it takes extra seconds to appear. you can't mount the horse if you have weapon drawn. the horse won't run to you automatically but there's a reason because you automatically mount your horse and i have multiple times gotten hit because i run into my horse so i'm locked in an animation. there's probably lots more, but all of this will constantly affect your enjoyment if you're someone who's even somewhat used to how smooth modern AAA openworld games play.

Like I just did a sidequest that was finding Serkis's house seal. You'd go to him, they'd say "ooh you should go to X place", but then I'd get two or more completely separate objective areas that are in the middle of nowhere for absolutely no reason that haven't been mentioned in the least. Why the fuck does he know to go there? Why am I going there??? This sort of thing happens multiple times throughout. There isn't enough causality in the story as presented on a bunch of different occasions.

How much of the total game content is focused in/around hernand?Im about 40hrs in now, just entered chapter 4 and doing sidequests as they come up and clearing the map before progressing main quests. Still mostly in hernand area, although i've wandered up nort a bit following some quests.I'm seeing many people say they beat the game in like 80ish hrs.Is most of the game content just focused in around hernand area and the rest of the game world just empty? That move eats health bars.You can also be way more aggressive when fighting him than you think. I was using a spear against him and was able to catch him coming out of teleports quite often to disrupt him.
