One thing I really appreciate about GU is just the sheer variety of content you have access to. You've got all the standard village/hub/arena quests but you also have prowler and deviant grind not to mention all the styles and arts to check out. I always appreciate the side content in portable games like the treasure quests and farm in FU or the rampages and anomaly quests in rise. I think that stuff is a lot more interesting than side content in most mainline games though I will say wilds has definitely focused more on side stuff than probably most previous mainlines with the barrel bowling and fishing and what not. I'm not really sure that stuff is as in depth as something like prowler though
Day x of soloing every quest in MHGU using guild style GS. Last time i just completed every G2 quest.I'm currently about 8 quests away from completing every G3 quest, and the grind is getting to me. I don't think i like the hyper monsters at all, nibelsnarf took me 43 minutes because i forgot cool pots, khezu carted me within 3min, and when i'm done with these i still have a shitton of hyper quests left to do in G4. But the climb is steady, therefore we keep going. When i get to Fatalis, or the EX deviants, i'm sure i'll look back to this and think it's not that bad.

Nibel is actually a monster that jobs hard to GS specifically because of how often it just sits around doing nothing. I'll give you some tips:1. When it's half submerged in sand and generally moving around but not attacking, aim for the big nose on the snout. This means predicting where it will move to next which is pretty easy if you just observe where it's headed. 2. When it pops out of the ground and it's sitting there dazed and upright, do about one full combo (maybe two if you're close and have the time) and then get out because he'll do his spin tail slap right after. 3. In general just be on his sides because if you're directly in front obviously he chomps you and if you're directly behind he will do his dust breath aoe I assume you already know about the unique bomb interaction? Also if you see his dust plume shooting up from underneath the ground he's about to charge so get away from it.

I just wanted to bring to everyone’s attention that there’s a mobile Capcom Card game called “Teppen” that ran for 9 years but just EoS today and died. However they have made it into a offline game now and everything is now free but you only have till the end of April to download it from the app store before they take it down permanently. There’s a lot of cool Monster Hunter cards in it among other Capcom things and the gameplay is pretty unique and interesting.

Think about teostra and lunastra they're both considered elders despite being different forms of the same monster so really there's no reason to consider gore, chaotic, and shagaru as not all elders and the only logical reason for demi-elder is just the gameplay loot drop differences.
