I like how much movement rossi has in her skills. Her empowered skill jumping backwards and the combo dashing to the other side of the target for the second hit. If you're smart about it you can use it to dodge things, and it's a lot more dynamic than perfect dodging which is boring and also a dps loss.

You just do their same stages over and over again and it is monotonous, even clearing them so quickly. The new "events" are just go to X place and do easy task that a toddler could do for 1/3rd of a roll with meaningless NPC dialogue. Factory is so shallow that it just doesn't have any depth to grant replayability, you do it in a hour or two and you never touch it again. The most fun I have with Endfield is just getting and leveling a new operator, but that doesn't last long, and then when new Umbrals and main story updates come out, but they are really slow in releasing those.

Though even that series has ways to break the game by what you do outside of combat.But any regular turn based videogame ever is all about outside of combat.Take Shin Megami Tensei. If you know what to do, no boss is much of a challenge. Just fuse the right shit.Take Atelier. Most of your time is spent in the Atelier synthesizing broken shit. The battles are just a check if you did that.Knowledge checks are the biggest difficulty you will ever have in turn based games. My absolute favorites like Genius of Sappheiros are also quite like that. Know who to prioritize on killing so you don't die as far as it goes in terms of what you do in combat. If the enemy boss however blinds your physical dps, all you can is restart and equip blind immunity on them.
