Why are there so few shotguns in this game and even fewer shotgun characters that can viably build towards weapon damage? I know I'm ignoring the elephant in the room that is this general's favorite shitposting target, but this is a real question I have.
Icefrog's game design always leads to boring ass braindead heroes. It's why League won. the game is more focused on items than cool hero kits.Just look at this game. The majority of abilities are just grenades or daggers. There's not a single hero out of the current 38 that actually require high skill to execute their kits. All the difficulty is in the movement and macro, there's really no micro.Riot is going to come in and destroy the shit out of this game when they make their version.

An objective like that requires space. The only places i can think of that wouldn't require drastic changes to the map are in each team's jungle, where the comeback urn delivery spots currently are. So you'd need two control points, one on each side of the map. Dota had something like this with shrines, basically adds a necessity to defend your jungle from invaders. But i feel like its kind of a boring objective, holding a control point on the enemy side of the map is basically unfeasible unless you're absurdly ahead and are going to win anyway, and otherwise it just ends up being an annoying distraction that you have to defend every now and then from someone trying to rat it.

When I check the Steam-Profiles of the players after the game, the playtime of my teammates usually never exceeds 20h while on the enemy team there are players with 200h to 400h playtime.
