>>562259126There's event card chain rng but instead of skills you need to get an item or card from finishing the eventIt's also a deck builder, so on top of raising parameters you need to pray for the right cards to show up to be able to play your character/play style optimally, on top of managing your funds to be able to buy or upgrade themThe memory you get is used in contests which is basically pvp and the "main" mode after all the idol story stuff like in uma but it will take only 6 cards from your deck to use in contests so you'll be spending you time doing runs in hopes that rng gives the right 6 cards out of however many you took, so you also have to manage your bloat and make sure you're not taking unnecessary cards as well, and even then if you upgrade a certain card it's not guaranteed to be upgraded in the memory sometimes so it's back to the mines if you get fucked. The silver lining is that once you get a decent memory you're pretty set for a while since updating teams isn't as bad as in uma and since it's a tram of 2-3 other idols you don't need a perfect roll on your cards on one girl and can supplement your missing cards from another teammate. That being said I find it to be even more grindy than uma at times so I don't play it as often. Pretty much taking a break until anniversary to see if they add Rinha.

The grind to me comes from trying to get good memories for contests and clearing out events; in this game you can sweep and in uma you can dump extra stamina for a big point multiplier on top of your other dailies contributing points so clearing events honestly isn't so bad, but in gakumas you only get points from doing runs and since runs are comparatively much faster you feel obligated to grind out multiple shorter runs instead of just one big run a day or whatever so it just feels like you're doing more.
