Often times there will be some enemy hero constantly planted at the lane you're pushing, and if you spam decay + sap at them every time they show up, its going to make it difficult for them to constantly hold you off. Do it enough times and eventually you'll have space to blow up the walker in 5 seconds with bolts. His build also just gets a lot of spirit really early, making the decay even better and also serving as supplemental direct damage that doesn't require you to hit the bolts. Combined with veil walker your role in the mid-game becomes being extremely obnoxious and requiring the enemy teeam to constantly deal with you
