I love playing with dads in this game. There’s really not much more to it. But I play in the low sodium destiny discord and group with a bunch of dads. I’m a 23 year old trans girl who’s majorly cracked at this game and it’s honestly just really nice to team with people that I can rely on to mainly be chill. I don’t really care much about callouts or if my dads die in game.I had one game where they both went down but I believe I was able to clutch. I don't get the meme that recon sucks. Her prime is kind of shitty sure but so are half the primes in the game, and it's probably the best out of the shitty ones at that. Cryo Archive is unplayable. Normally a solo player I'm just running behind 2 guys in comms, no idea what's even happening. Yeah the loot is slightly better than in Outpost but it doesn't even fit into my backpack and the chances to exfil seem negligible.

this game desperately needs a "has mic" matchmaking. anytime i match with everyone talking, we at least have a halfway decent round to great round. but if i match with 2 mutes its always a shitshow. if you dont want to talk thats fine but keep me out of your team.

When I get cracked by a sniper rifle, my heart reacts the same way as if I'm getting shot by a paintball. The feeling of stakes/loss feels grounded, and the sound design really pushes that. My respiratory system feels activated in a way that's similar to actually running, etc. Day Z is the only other game that made me feel like that, but not to the degree that Marathon does.
