However, they just sketched and "Illuminationified" her, if that makes sense. As result her features are kinda exaggerated, in a more western cartoony way. Also her hair is supposed to be more abundant an "poofy" something like you don't see here But well, she was a cameo here. Assuming she appears in the Donkey Kong movie she would have to be tweaked like they tweaked Peach in this new movie.

Mario is actually handled really well in these movies, he struggles, but ultimately wins, which is what people want to see in a character. I think my problem with that is that it's works for the plot they were trying to tell and I don't have a problem with its execution, but it's just something you know deep down is because it's 2026 and they don't want men rescuing princesses from cages, they think it's less offensive if a woman saves a woman.
