This has got to be one of the stingiest gacha games I've ever tried. 100 rolls across the 2 banners with starting tickets and gems resulting in no 6 star operators and the rewards slow to a trickle not too far in the game. The story is on par with other gacha games and combat is nothing special. The only thing this has going for it is the factory stuff but it just makes me think they should have just gone all in on it instead of building a whole bunch of half baked systems.

>>562499927Reclamation AlgorithmIt's a game mode in Arknights that's a survival game where you gather resources and build up a base and then defend said base from waves of enemies, but unlike the dogshit tower defense missions in Endfield the base you build is the actual stage that the enemies show up in so by the way you design your base it ultimately affects how the stage ends up playing because instead of just making it so the towers do all the work, you are still expected to use your operators to do most of the work while the base functions as support for them.A ton of people joked that Endfield is a sequel to RA but realistically RA is way better designed than Endfield. It mixes the styles of survival, base building and tower defense way more elegantly. Certain operators are much better at say gathering resources than defending the base, and the food you can cook have very significant buffs that can massively alter the performance of said operators too. It mixes the base game with the mechanics of the new mode so well that it's insane that literally none of that shows up in Endfield at all.
