This has got to be one of the stingiest gacha games I've ever tried. 100 rolls across the 2 banners with starting tickets and gems resulting in no 6 star operators and the rewards slow to a trickle not too far in the game. The story is on par with other gacha games and combat is nothing special. The only thing this has going for it is the factory stuff but it just makes me think they should have just gone all in on it instead of building a whole bunch of half baked systems.

It mixes the styles of survival, base building and tower defense way more elegantly. Certain operators are much better at say gathering resources than defending the base, and the food you can cook have very significant buffs that can massively alter the performance of said operators too. It mixes the base game with the mechanics of the new mode so well that it's insane that literally none of that shows up in Endfield at all.
