The basis of any military strategy is a realistic estmiation of your own and your enemies capabilities.Considering taht the american military has been fairly decent at that, every american president before that has told Bibi to fuck off with his Iran war, following the qualified counsel of their generals who have wargamed this scenario countless times. Resulting in outright defeat with intolerable losses every time.Outside of narcisstic grandiose delusions, the A-10 is a 60 year old airframe that has not been used for anything besides bombing farmes with bolt action rifles the past decades. Its intended purpose is to operate under a cover of total and complete air superiority, allowing for a few scarce manpads at most. Feel free to boot up DCS and make a run against ground targets right through concealed enemy AA to confirm the scenario , and watch your own cope evaporate.
