Support has last pick and offers to trade for my Bottom role and follows up with "do you mind" and some sentence fragments like their champion's name and "pick engage?". I'm already hovering my adc champ choice and I instalock like I always do. I thought about switching to a real support champ but I decided not to. I think it's great when the support is honest about their preference to not play the role, but I dunno, I'm really cranky lately. I'm going to play the role to my best ability as always regardless of what I choose.Anyway, the guy was okay at his champion but was dumb when it comes to common sense. One time, he was sitting in a bush that took 5 "enemy has vision here" pings from me to get him to leave the bush that had a very red ward outline from my previous "enemy has vision here" ping. Then there was one time he stood very far behind me while I was poking the enemy, but we can chalk that up to potential tilt, even if we were doing quite well. I stole a bit of cs and bungled a few support charge last hits, to be fair. I did the usual competent support things like making sure he had adequate vision and more complex support things like NOT fucking up his wave. Bottom turret was the first to fall thanks to us and the jungler's help, but here's the real meat of the confession. I had to really fight myself on not being a douche to not do things like kill steal or just instaclear waves. Got weird when I rotated to mid and he wasn't there. It got even weirder when the other teammates left me and the waves alone there like I was a regular laner. I've had this happen before as off-meta support that ends up doing well. I even stood still one time when another laner came to the wave so they could get it but they let me have it anyway.The enemy ended up ff'ing at 20 and I completely cleared the enemy mage support. Finally, I think my adc would have been an awful support and would have tilted me way more than I probably tilted him despite us gapping the enemy.
