Instead of "queue leveling roulette and hope you get Ifrit normal" they're telling you "go do this specific dungeon" or "Slap 5 chuds' balls in eastern Thanalan", it feels more deliberate. If I want to go make an ARR or HW or ShB relic right now, there's going to be more than just tome dumping involved. This keeps it evergreen to some extent, whereas the tome dump relics I just go and buy like a vending machine. If you need more tomes, sure you're gonna have to go grind those out, but again that feels more incidental and less like you're deliberately pursuing a relic. It doesn't get you doing anything different than what you'd normally do.

>>562629246depending on where you're transferring from, the leveling buff is great and if you value housing, that is another plus. i don't think queues are that bad, you put up a public PF (especially for post-CT raids & later trials) and it fills in like 5-10 minutes (there is a dedicated group who watch PF and flex jobs, super helpful). my expert rouls pop within 5 minutes on dps most days, but other rouls can be very slow depending on the time of day and your job. pvp never pops unless it's RW on sundays, hosted by a group on seraph. RP here is pretty good since a lot of people from crystal moved for the housing. i really like being on dynamis & will never move, but it is definitely different and maybe an acquired taste.
