are these threads even active anymore? I wanted to play ds3 recently but on the start menu it immediately freezes and crashes. I can't find anything on google and I'm using w11

Recently started playing DS3 after 100%'ing DS1 and beating DS2. When I was playing today and discovered the cathedral of the deep some dude dressed as Solaire invaded me and just showed me all of the shortcuts and where the estus shard and sublime bone dust was located. I was pretty happily surprised that there are still helpful people out there online in this age.
