Her kit is not gimped you just didn’t read her skill tree.

She can summon a shield that shoots shit like a UFO and her rapier can smite from a distance while having the best stamina management out of all of them. You do need to invest in her trees though and yeah she’s not the main character. She’s been a blast to do side quests with. Getting into a gun duel with that one shotgun spaz was kino.

Wish she could wear the pirate hat though.

I'd recommend following the main quest until you start chapter 5, feel free to go off and do some side quest/requests but don't bother going outside Hernand. There's going to be puzzles and stuff that require mechanics or abilities you'd unlock through the main quest
Some time during chapter 4 you'll recruit Donnie the chef at your camp who sells meals, and that'll make healing so much easier which then makes combat less of a pain (besides bosses)

So I am still in Chapter 5 even after 70 hours.
I have recently visited Demeniss and noticed all the guards are hostile to me. Had some really cool spy moments infiltrating the city to explore it.
I wanted to ask you guys who are further in, whether at some point they turn friendly. Because if they do I dont want to progress and use their hostility to grind them. There are so many enemies to kill and practice combat on. And they drop valuable loot.

The other witches are just on the map somewhere. You have to find them. Most are in or near towns but one is on a very out of the way mountain pass. When you get close a white quest area marker will show up on your minimap so always investigate when you see those.

I come bearing gifts of wisdom from my playthrough today for any newbies wanting some cool mounts.

So in Hernand you get a quest to deliver a letter from a wife to a soldier, do it. That quest leads you to hunting an animal. Do this quest ASAP. Killing it gives you a wisdom shard, use that (it's in your inventory) and it gives you the location to many legendary creatures. One of which is a sick horse, pic related.

In that same area is another animal (same animal type). It doesn't have a direct quest tied to it so you'll need to track it. Killing it (make sure you skin it) will give you another very cool mount. Trying to keep it spoiler free because I hate all of the youtube "DO THIS NOW" videos and you guys still get a sense of having done it yourselves.

Actually a fun quest, has a boss fight in it and everything. But remember, when you kill the beast, in that EXACT same area is the other beast. That's the one you kill and skin to unlock it as a mount. It's a white wolf if you want spoiled. But killing the beast belonging to the quest gives you a memory shard with a bunch of locations of cool animals, one of which was the cool black horse I found

I went from being completely mad and disappointed over what the fuck I've wasted money on, to enjoying the ride, to rolling my eyes over everything the game has to offer after the initial 10-15 hours.
I think after nearly 100 hours I agree with those game reviewers that gave this game 6-7/10, that's about right.

This is a very subpar game with a big budget.

Overloaded with pointless mechanics you'd never use outside of certain mission, with an empty world that doesn't reward exploration (+1 skill point after puzzles just isn't it), with rubbish side quests, boring main story, shitty loot from enemy camps and households, an illusion of enemy variety (you fight humanoids the whole game, just with different skins), with boss fights that have no balance or thought behind them (literally hold heavy attack and spam food, so fun).

IDK man, I was cautious about this game, I've spent quite a bit of time in it, but I just couldn't shake the feeling like it could've easily been better, and instead it became a wide engine demo with a story hastily thrown together.
It's like eating meat off of a bone. Might taste alright, but you could've been eating an entire steak instead.

This is a bigger wider Dragon's Dogma, which was shit. So is CD.

kinda same here. the game has glimpses of greatness, like the world is super inviting to explore, but the content at offer is a letdown. i just wish it had witcher 3 esque side quest galore at every new story location, instead it feels like youre sifting through garbage to find the 1 cool side quest in the region from all the glorified radiant quests. so many locations are visually interesting with cool soundscapes and soundtracks but the MMO genetics really shine through and ruin the vibe.

Attack speed and crit don't work the way you want them to on gloves/boots, so you can only reach crit 15 by either wearing some horrid abomination of gear that gives innate crit and then covering the rest of your attack speed/crit deficit with gears on your weapon (and attack speed on the gloves/boots)

I thought Hernand had a ridiculous amount of content already and I was nearly done then I started unlocking all of that. No matter how much I do or how far I travel there's still tons to do. You can tell how little time they had to actually flesh him out though. Kliff has an overwhelming large kit, more than half which are "unmarked". Oongka basically just has his jumping strike and then everything on the skill tree and nothing unmarked. And his skill tree is like half the size of Kliff's. Same for Damiane.

No, I noticed the purple bounty while I was on a "follow this NPC" quest, so I quickly grabbed it and moved on. Then when I started doing other side quests, it lead me back there and I realized I had taken a quest bounty without talking to quest NPCs, (I didn't even notice at the time) and it's been like 30 hours later with no save from back then. Not that I would have re-done 30 hours of gameplay to be able to finish a stupid bounty quest. Maybe an hour or two, max.
