For when he does awaken, his dreams will end, and the Sui fragments with them. Well, unless they die first, in which case they are literally written out of existence - everything they made ceases to exist, and everyone they once knew forgets them.Shu is one of the oldest of these, her specialty being agriculture. She loyally served Yan for centuries in the town in which she settled, secretly holding back the demonic taint from the war against Sui in devotion to the humble farmer who once took her in and dreamed of feeding the world. Though, it was also her prison - because while Yan has no explicit quarrel with the Sui fragments, they monitor them constantly. Partially out of concern for their power, but also because whenever they get too close to each other, dreaming Sui stirs and risks reawakening.
