That thing is unironically the deadliest enemy in the game. Worse than Harvester instant-kill beams, because at least you can see/hear the Harvester coming and there's a very high chance that the initial beam won't be right on top of you so you can actively dodge it.

The fire shotgun Heavy Dev just has a flat percentage chance of instantly deleting you regardless of your armor rating, and this applies to every single one of the dozens you encounter in a single mission. You could be hiding behind cover, step out for half a second to engage it, and just instantly die because the dice roll wasn't in your favor.

No shit? Arrowhead isn't hiding anything. The main team that made HD2 is now working on other games including an Unreal project which I think they alluded to is similar to Helldivers.

HD2 is now updated by a third party which does the warbonds, major updates by a different team and rarely the main team comes in to take control (i.e. the giant rebalance shitshow).

I don't think the War Striders are a good addition to the bot front and only serve to be extremely annoying and a plain filter to most support weapons in the game. Even weapons that can pen and kill them like the AMR/HMG feel like shit against them.

War Striders as a unit are perfectly fine, the real problem is that they spawn in unreasonably large numbers. If you saw one War Strider for every 2 or 3 Hulks/Tanks then nobody would complain, but instead they spawn at basically a 1:1 ratio with Hulks.

Ignoring enemies is always the most meta way to play. Its not exactly fun, but stealth armor and just running past everything is a hell of a lot faster than fighting. There are also a bunch of really stupid mechanics that make this easily abusable including the fact that only X number of enemies can spawn and there are no 'solo hunter' units so everyone fucking off in different directions is objectively better than grouping up. Additionally not looking at enemies lowers their accuracy substantially so ignoring them and running is better than standing and fighting. But what sort of fag would want every match to be like this.

But other than that, yeah, Stealth is absurdly good since the bots being the ranged faction already gives you a bit of extra distance when you start running away, often you don't even need to break direct line of sight, just get far enough away out of their detection range and then get away from the "last sighted here" location.

How important is ergo and recoil to you guys? 35 ergo is good enough for me and I feel like it's easy enough to track most enemies except really fast niggas like predditor bugs or cyborgs. Like with the Coyote, 38 ergo in exchange for baby recoil most of the time feels pretty good. But then with other guns like the HMG or Adjudicator, maxxing for low recoil feels pointless because the ergonomics end up being so dogshit that you pretty much need to use PP. I'm thinking of just using angled grip since that only increases vertical recoil and learning to control that but even recoil past 24 feels too much for me sometimes. Just looking to hear some other anon's opionions.

I'm trying to understand this game.

According to the durable damage formula a theoretical fully charge unsafe shot from a rail gun to a bile titans head should do 609 damage. Meaning it would always take minimum 3 shots to kill. But I've seen some videos within the last year where it's doing it in two.

Does durability go down as it takes damage or something?

I hate how an explosion will ragdoll me but barely inconvenience my enemies. I had an alpha warrior blow up a forklify and it caused me to ragdoll, but barely even caused that motherfucker to flinch.
