"December Holiday" doesn't exist. She's a concept made reality by Kris and Noelle, brought to life by magic, the same sort of magic that gives form to monsters in Undertale. The Knight's antlers mean it has to be either Carol or December, but Carol couldn't have reached the church in time. Then, how can the Knight be December if she's missing? Why did the Knight only recently show up alongside the creation of Castle Town? Why does nobody in town bring her up? Why is she only ever brought up by the Holidays and random Darkners? Why did Asgore get removed from the force for failing to find her after she went missing, despite him clearly knowing about Dark Worlds and having possible leads? Is it really just for failing to find her? Or could it be because December's disappearance makes no sense from a Light World perspective? It's possible. After all, it makes no sense to say someone disappeared because they weren't real in the first place. Unless you were "in" on it, of course.Why did December not exist in the first drafts of the Alarm Clock app? If she's the Knight, doesn't that mean she was incredibly important to the plot? It's possible she didn't exist in Undertale because she only exists thanks to the power of Dark Fountains. But, of course, monster reproduction would still allow her to exist in Undertale. Could it be she was retconned into Undertale later, after Toby ironed out the details of Darkners existing in the Light World in a way similar to monsters?Why does she have so much random stuff in her closet? the thing that makes gerson's character a little shit is the fact that, beyond the scene where he's given the cool guy plot armor so he can beat the shit out of the titan, and the scene where he goes "kris eat my old man apple" he doesn't ever actually care for anyone in the gang. queen and tenna, for as dramatic and stupid as they were, still had good intentions, meanwhile gerson only ever helped susie fill her arc because he's The Writer Guy and susie's like his Cool Dragon OC, but there wasn't any actual motivation for him to help, unless you see it like a trade where he goes "i'll help susie so she gives my dumb priest son my cool letter"

As the story progresses you learn Arietta is also being corrupted by the main antagonist of the entire series Alpha. The Silent Hill monsters are also pretty dumb as horrifying as they are. Only a couple of the more humanoid ones even imply any level of intelligence and are capable of speech at all. I think most of the undertale/deltarunes would be fine considering they themselves are monsters capable of doing combat, but yeah the guards/police of undertale/deltarune definitely have an edge.
