I really like a lot of the Nikke OST but what really bothers me is how they write lyrics without having any understanding for the English language and how it's supposed to sound and flow when spoken. They keep doing this for some reason. The new event theme song (with Pernelle as the singer) is guilty of the same thing. The way the lyrics flow, the intonation, the nonsensical sentences that mean absolutely nothing. It sounds like somebody is trying to write/sing an English song who doesn't speak the language, like at all. This is what keeps me from adding a lot of the songs to my daily playlist because i can't help but cringe. I don't know if this is the writer/producer's fault or just Pernelle being french.
