Milteo and Crystal being commonplace along with both Sword and Forest getting nerfed has left them both in a steep decline. Forest is on the way to irrelevance again and Sword is gonna have to crutch on aggro builds to steal wins from Egg and to try and race Milteo. Forest has it worse though because Haven is becoming super popular and it hard counters their only other viable deck; Roach.

Cannot participate to the SVO because I have no internet at home since 3 weeks now so I do everything at the library. And this trip made me realize that if you don't live in Asia, you really get nothing for this game : the connection is good (20 MBits/s in and out) yet I get disconnected multiple times, I can only conclude that the servers are absolute garbage, worse than the prequel's that's going to close actually. I could tolerate no events but not being able to even casually play properly is really bad. The meta feels bad too with too many non-games due to the too-specific class system : lobbies are full of portal and haven only so if you don't have something that beats both you get clapped with nothing to do about it. Oh and the SVO actually starts way too late for the designated regions, starting a day of games at 6pm is also really bad (well can't be worse than Igni tourney starting at 2am !) and I am genuinely shocked to see that the Asia open is a lot more accessible to EU players than the actual EU open. A lot of red flags for the esports of this game I'm just gonna play Yugioh instead, at least I won't be restricted by some class bs and can at least play my games.
