There some nice synergy with weapon swap gun burst and cipher casting, and I like the flavor. Micromanagment timing has stopped me from doing it in RTWP before, but That seems like less of an issue in turn based.

The trickster exclusive metamagic is really goodBut it does give you choice paralysis Some highlights I've discovered so far>you can use it to learn level 9 spells that you've scribed while you only have level 8 spells and so on to learn weird earlier>you can use it to give other metamagics to level 9 spells>it lets you use level 1 spells as cantrips>and more importantly to use level 2 spells in level 1 spellslots which frees up a lot of spaceThe main issue I have with it is that you really have to plan out your spellbook when you get itI believe you might be able to combine it with heighten to raise all your dcs by 1 without using a higher level spellslot, but I need to test this
