It’s still to early to fully rank it but as far as first patch content I’d say in the top four. Expansions could even make it to top three. I love the class pruning even if others hate it. >>563193067I love Midnight, might be one of the best expansions so far. There's a lot of focus on narrative and storytelling, both in quests and outside, like via item descriptions and npc chatter. Classes feel good, different levels of complexity per spec or class. So far so good. The UI revamp added a lot of QoL changes, and whole lot of added info, like boss timelines, little icons that indicate the type of debuff at a glance (a drop of blood for bleeding for example), way clearer mechanics at least in the new dungeons. That put everyone on the same level playing field , so everyone has the same amount of information.For me, the best part is that it feels like the game respects my time. I can choose how I want to play, what content, what difficulty (prey for example is a super cool way to make overworld content more tricky and interesting).And of course the delves are uniformly a huge improvement over TWW, feels like Blizzard really listened to feedback for once and swung for the fences.

BM is simple to a fault, but good when you just want to relax and play something easy. surv is more fun and more involved, the grenades and boomstick are very satisfying to use. MM is just a very zen spec, you get into a flow state with it, its not as braindead as BM but not quite as many interactions and positional requirements as surv. only downside is it can be a bit reliant on RNG procs and can stall out if the procs dont come (also there have been some bugs regarding spotters mark going on the wrong targets)plus having access to a tank pet means it doesnt suffer all the woes of other pure dps classes as it can still solo a lot of content that other classes like rogue or mage might struggle with like open world elites and delves. all 3 specs do pretty universally lack good self healing and defensives though so stock up on potions

I miss just being able to slowly level a profession to cap over the course of an expansion and maybe make one or two cool things, but now you can’t even get to skill cap without all kinds of bullshit.
